I stared at him as I tried to figure out what the shit he was talking about.

"What's blood bound?" Ari asked quietly.

"No," I interrupted before he could even start to answer, "First I wanna know why you've been stalking me all day."

"What are you talking about?" He asked innocently.

"Why have you been stalking me all day?" I spoke loudly and deliberately slow to insinuate he was off and couldn't keep up.

"I heard you," He took a step closer. I stood my ground despite Ari's attempts to get me away from him."I just don't know what you're talking about."

"Really?" I raised my eyebrows accusingly.

"Really," He smirked and placed a hand on the wall beside my head, leaning way too close. "It's not like I saw you messing with those," His eyes dropped to my chest before raising back to me, "Or shopping for lingerie. Or how would I know," His hand gently slid down my side and rested on my hip, brushing along the hemline of my jeans. "That you have a lipstick print right here?" His fingers ran across the exact spot. "Why would you ever think I was stalking you?"

I panicked and ducked under his arm, yanking Ari with me and making a mad dash for the door. He was there before we could reach it, leaning lazily against it. "What the hell do you want?!" I nearly screamed in frustration.

"Why are you so hostile?" He placed a hand to his heart in mock hurt. "I just wanna get to know you guys." He smirked and looked me over. "You, especially."

"I'm gonna call the police if you don't get out of my house." Ari threatened.

"With what phone? You left yours downstairs and your dad is gone."

"He's gone?" I echoed, glancing at Ari in a daze. She slowly nodded.

"He just left to go to a bar with his friends." She whispered.

"Right." Dennis took a step forward and Ari and I took about five back. "So seeing as you both are pretty entertaining, I'm gonna let you guess what's going on." He grabbed the chair beside him and spun it in one swift motion. The chain on his pants rattled as he took a backwards seat, placing his arms atop the back and grinning boyishly. "Please, sit down." He swept an arm out for us to take a seat on my bed. "Take a load off. Don't look so tense. Relax, lay back and--"

"Okay." I snapped, dropping on my bed. "You don't have to be so sarcastic."

"I'm waiting." He glanced at Ari as she hesitantly sat beside me.

"For..?" She asked.

"Tell me what's going on."

"How the hell are we supposed to know?" I stared at him and his stupid smug ass smile that was thoroughly pissing me off. Who the hell did he think he was?

"I'm Dennis," He answered out loud, his eyes boring into mine. "I don't remember my last name."

"Did I just say that out loud?" I asked, confused.

"I don't even know what you're talking about." Ari's voice was shaky as her eyes darted from Dennis to me, then back to Dennis.

"You said it loud enough for me to hear," He replied nonchalantly. "So any guesses?"

"You're a psychotic serial killer?" I really though this was a possibility.

"No."

"Are you a telepathic governmental experiment that escaped from Area 51?"
