Chapter 3

Silence.

Silence filled Mika's room. No sound can be heard.

I picked up the telephone in mika's room and dialled the number 1. After the second ring, someone picked it up.

"I want a tuna sandwich, salted fries and melon milkshake." Sabi ko sa katulong sa kabilang linya and looked at Mika.

"Uhm.. Cheese sandwich and orange juice." She said weakly and looked at Gio and blushed a little.

Tumingin dinn ako kay Gio na nakatingin na sakin and i then raised one eyebrow.

"Tuna sandwich din and some cola, please."

I repeated their orders and placed the phone on it's receiver.

Umupo ulit ako malapit kay Mika sa mababang circular wooden table sa kabilang side ng room ni Mika. Bale, nakaupo lang kami sa carpeted floor ng kwarto nya.

It had been an hour since they finished their project. It was quite easy, to be exact.

Kaya ngayon ay nakaupo lang kami at naka tanga.

"Pwede ko bang buksan yung TV?" I asked Mika.

"Y-yeah! Sure! Uhm, gusto nyo manuod tayo ng movie?"

"Sige ba. Hm, do you watch action movies, Mika?" Tanong ni Gio.

"Huh? Ah.. yeah! I love action movies!" Exclaimed Mika.

Pft, lies. You never watch those. You said it has too much violent scenes in it.

"Ikaw, Sam?" Tanong ni Gio sakin.

"I'm okay with action movies."

Though i would prefer horror movies..

I gave the remote to Gio and let him choose which action movie to watch which he did. And after a few minutes, civil war was seen on the screen.

"I like ironman. He's cool, ain't he?" Sabi ni Gio.

"Y-yeah, he is." Sabi ni Mika while i just nodded my head.

Ironman is cool, but deadpool is the coolest. Well, for me.

Just then, someone knocked on the door.

"Come in." I said. Malamang, yung maid na yan with our sandwiches and drinks.

Nilapag ng maid ang sandwiches and drinks sa lamesa at lumabas din agad-agad.

I reached for my tuna sandwich when i felt a hand on top of mine. Mabilis naman itong nawala.

"Sorry. Sige, sayo na yan. Pwedeng paabot na lang nung isa panv tuna sandwich?" Sabi ni Gio. Inabot ko naman sa kanya yung isa pa at agad syang nag-thank you bago kinagatan ito at tumutok ulit ang tingin sa TV.

Lumingon naman ako kay Mika na nakatingin ng maigi sa sandwich ko. I looked at her, confused.

"Gusto mo?" Alok ko pero umiling lamang sya at nanood na lang din ng movie.

I took a bite of my sandwich and moaned. The tuna sandwich in Mika's house really is the best. Hindi ko alam kung anong nilalagay nila dito, but it tasted so good.

"Masarap?" Napatingin ako kay Gio at nakita syang nakatingin sakin habang nakangiti.

Seriously, hindi ba sya napapagod ngumiti? Wala na syang ginawa kanina pa kundi ang ngumiti.

Hindi ko sya sinagot at tumingin na lang ulit sa TV habang ngumunguya.

I heard him chuckle.

He's a cheerful one, ain't he? I hate those type of people.
