*Jakes POV*

"Your what?" I asked her still in shock at what was happening.

She didn't look at me and I didn't think she could.

"Hows this Jake" She said and stood up. "catch me and I'll tell you" She had a look of complete sadness on her face. It was like she didn't want me to find her. She turned her head away from me and flew off disappearing into thin air as she did.

I couldn't move. I was still in too much shock. I just kinda sat there for a few seconds.

I couldn't describe the emotions that were running through me at that time. Happiness about having a child. Disappointment at my age, stupidity for putting Ivy through this sh*t and for this being the second time.

Yes that right. I've already had a child and...... I'm still confused at that situation.

I couldn't bear to put Ivy through the hell that she went through so, I stood up. I willed myself to fly and my body fulfilled the command. I flew above the tree and into the bushes. Ivy always used to hide in there when we had our powers in the first place. I didn't see why she wouldn't now.

I stood still waiting to hear a ruffle in the leaves or a branch snapping, anything that could show me where she was.

The wind went through the branches of the tree and it made sounds like people crying out for help. It sounded like I was listening to a million people having the very souls drained from their body and I couldn't do anything to help them. It was like a memory of a memory or something. I don't know how to explain it but it made me feel even more confused then before.

I closed my eyes and let myself be absorbed into the sounds. It was depressing enough to make me want to fall from the top of the tree and pray for death, it made me want to go to the pond and drown. I heard these noises and I felt guilty, like it was my fault. Like it was my hand these people died at. It was like their souls were there, taunting me, telling me I deserved a fait worse then death. I didn't know what to do.

So I fell.

I let myself fall in hopes that the voices would disappear.

I let myself fall only to hear the wind whistle in my ears and the voices grow stronger.

Suddenly, it stopped.

I didn't hear the wind, I didn't feel anything beneath me meaning I didn't hit the bottom and die.

I felt nothing.

I opened my eyes and saw that my face was an inch away from the ground. I looked around me and realized Ivy had saved me. I saw a faint shimmer of light glowing around my legs meaning Ivy had put something there to help me.

"Jake just cause-I can believe you- you selfish son of a-"she said as she became visible again and came floating towards me.

"You didn't hear it?"I asked her

"Hear what Jake?" She asked me in an irritated tone

"The voices"

"What voices?"

"The voices that- never mind. Can you put me down?

She waved her hand and dropped me just like I was onto the ground.

"That hurt" I complained

"Well it wasn't meant to tickle"she told me

"Ivy" I said calmly standing up and walking closer to her

I grabbed her arm and leaned in so I was an inch away from her face

"I caught you" I told her.

Her face went pale as she realized what I just did
