Sweet Lies
"You are beautiful" her father tells her
She looks in the mirror;
All she can see is a loser
"You're the best" says her friend
Suddenly, her friend betrays her
All this time all her friend does was pretend
"When will this end?" she whispers to herself
It rings in her ears as noisy as a bell
She wants to die or just jump in a well
She cries every night because it's relief
She feels so small as if like an elf
She can fit herself in a box or maybe in a shelf
