Been months since I last heard from you

Even though I was always 

When you weren't even knowing

I haven't been the same

Even though I try

You were the one who saw the true me

The side I kept hidden from the world

It has been hard since you told me to move on

Couldn't find anyone as great as you

Wishing things could go back

Back to it wasn't me or you but an us

But I know I was too late that it was now a y'all 

Never again will it be us

I know I had failed 

Going down the same path I did long ago

So I watch from a distance

Glad that you are happy

Having to give up on mine

Because I know I will never find love
