As long as I can remember I always could hear voices in my head. When I was 14, I finally had had enough. I went to my mother in tears. Then she finally told me the truth...

Flashback

"Its okay sweat heart, I was wondering when you ask", She said guiding me into her arms.
Wondering?..She knew? I thought.
"Yes I knew I just didn't know when it happen or when you would tell me," she said sympathetically.
I looked at her, shocked.
She read my mind...
"Yes that's correct I did." she said as if she were answering that very thought.
"Whats wrong with us why are we like this?"
I'm a FREAK...
"No...no your not a freak," she said sternly. "There are so many things I have to tell you in so little time," she said as she caressed my cheek.
"First things first, you're a mind reader," She said.
"A m...mind reader?" I said shocked at what I'd just heard.
"Yes, Im one too," she continued "There are many of us in the world, we're just in...hiding."
Hiding...Hiding from who?
"People who want to use,"she said as she answered my thought again.
"Use us for what?"
"They want to use are powers for government purposes...and they don't take No for an answer," she said deep in thought.
"This is important honey..listen" I stared at her in her eyes.
"You must not tell ANYONE not even your friends okay? People are always watching." I nodded my head as she told me about mind readers.

I know its short, sorry Idk when I'm going to update probably like every Thursday (don't hold me to that) This story is just taking off and I still have some ideas, so in the next chapter there is more info on the character kat but I'm not going to give away to much but please keep reading.
