/Zaid's POV\
My brother and I were shocked to find Violet on our front door step in tears. "H-he's been taken." Violet looked at us with sad eyes.
"Who has?" Max asked gently and we welcomed her in.
"Drake."
My jaw nearly hit the floor in shock. "what...?"
"He was taken!" She shouted and threw her arms around Max, crying out.
I felt my world come crashing down.
"Oh my god..." I ran a hand through my hair and leaned against the wall for support. "w-when...?"
"A few hours ago..." she sniffled.
"How do you know?"
She looked at me sadly. "Ill tell you if you promise to help me save him."
|Next afternoon|
"So what is all this setup for...?"i looked at this tracking equipment and a laptop. Dominik looked at me.
"We are going to track Drake through the call that we will receive in an hour." Dominik pointed to the letter that Julian held in his hands a hand covering his mouth in a worried manner.
I curiously made my way over to him and looked at the note over his shoulder.
Dear Dominik and Julian,
I am aware that Carson set up your son to trick me and catch me. Well let me just say this now. You will be made a deal at 1:00 and if you don't follow through with the deal Drake is mine for the next two days. Than I will make the offer again. If that deal is refused than I will keep, kill and ditch Drake.

"Who's D.C.?"
"Damian Charles... The leader of-" Dominik stopped.
"The Umbra Fata. I know. Violet told us everything." I gestured to my brother who had made himself comfortable next to Violet on the couch.
Julian frowned at me. "Everything...?"
"I think it's everything..."
"Okay..." he sighed and Dominik continued with his work.
Within the next hour the tracking device was set up and we had turned on our video message. Waiting for Damian to give us our deal.
"now say hi to mommy and daddy!" A man said to Drake as a confused expression passed his face.
"What...?"
"Julian and Dominik are watching this right now." He purred at Drake and wrapped an arm around him.
"JULIAN! DOMINIK! HELP!" He frantically for the camera. "Please! You said you'd help me!"
A gag was tied around his mouth. A disgusted look on the mans face.
"That's enough from you. Now down to business. If you don't hand over your hostage I won't hand over mine. I want an exchange. you have 8 hours to come up with a place to meet and how. I will be waiting. But don't keep me waiting to long." The video stopped.
I looked to Julian to see his reaction. He looked absolutely stunned. Also he looked heart broken.
"You can't go through with it. It's a trap." A voice hissed behind everyone.
"What do you mean we can't?!" Dominik turned from the screen and everyone faced a vampire behind us.
"I mean that if we go through with this he will know where we are and how to set up a plan on how to kill us all. We need to wait till deal two. unless you got a reading from your 'tracker' device." the vampire spat.
From the look on Dominik's face we didn't get anything on their location.
"We can't just do nothing though..." I whispered.
The vampire turned, looked at me and sneered. "We will do nothing you filthy human."
"Carson. Play nice." Dominik warned.
"Whatever." Carson left before anther word was said.
As I made my way to the guest bedroom I passed Dominik and Julians room. I heard sobbing come from inside. "He's my baby Dominik. And I have done nothing to get him back!"
I heard Dominik shush Julian. "it's going to be alright Julian. Drakes a strong boy..."
Even I had to admit the same.

I know my latest chapters are uber short >.> but they are jam packed with information... so yeah... it makes up for it...
