Lavanya and Nixon was at the front gate with two guards that was their age. "Are you sure your parents are letting you go out of the castle walls?" Asked a boy with short brown hair.

"For the last time, it's fine, Kace." Nixon said sounding annoyed.

"That's the fifth time you asked that question." Stated a boy with raven hair.

"Sorry, Stellan. Just wanted to make sure." Kace said glaring at Stellan.

"Can we go now? I don't want to wear this robe much longer." Lavanya said then looked at the gate in front of her. "I really want to see what kind of dresses the villagers have." She said getting excited.

"You're different from other women, Princess." Kace said.

"I can't help it... In, Astird I go into the village to buy my dresses. The way they make them, it's absolutely amazing." Lavanya said smiling. "It's not too much nor is it too plain. It's not perfect nor is it horrible. It's in between." She said looking at the ground while smiling. "There's usually a meaning behind the patterns or just the dress in general." She added. Then she notices the three boys staring at her. Lavanya's whole face went red. "N-Never mind! L-Lets go before, Avery and Rowan leave for their meeting!" She yelled as she turned away from the three boys.

"She's a keeper." Kace whispered in Nixon's ear. "Too bad, she hates your guts." He added while chuckling making Nixon elbow his stomach.

"Shut up." Nixon hissed.

"Okay, okay. Don't get worked up about it." Kace said smiling as he held his hands up in defense.

"Open the gate!" Stellan yelled at the other guards.

The guards nodded the pulled a lever causing the gate to open enough for the four people to go through. When they went on the other side, Nixon, Lavanya and Kace walked ahead while Stellan stayed behind a little then told the guards to close the gate before running to catch up with the others.

After a few minutes, they made it to the village where all of the villagers stared at them shocked and surprised. "I don't like how they look at us..." Kace whispered to Stellan.

"Neither do I." Nixon whispered to the guards. When Nixon turned to look at Lavanya he didn't see her. "Where's Lavanya?" He asked worried. Kace tapped Nixon's shoulder then pointed at the villagers, where Lavanya was happily talking to the villagers like they were friends.

"What's she doing?" Stellan asked.

"She talking to the villagers," Nixon said surprised.

"Could you tell me where I could buy some dresses?" Lavanya asked a woman who was carrying a baby. "Wow, you're baby's beautiful..." She said looking at the baby who stared back. When Lavanya smiled at the baby, they laughed as they held their hands up.

"Thank you, princess." The woman said as she smiled at her baby.

"What's their name?" Lavanya asked the woman.

"Jayde." The woman replied.

"Jayde?" Lavanya repeated then looked at the smiling baby. "That's a beautiful name..." She said as she smiled at the baby softly. "So, could you show me where I could find a shop to buy dresses?" Lavanya asked the woman.

"I can show you!" Yelled a little boy.

Lavanya turned around to see a boy. "Hello, what's your name?" She asked as she kneeled down to the boy's level.

"I'm Flynn." He said smiling then bowed. "It's a pleasure to meet you, princess." He said then stood up.

"The pleasure's mine." Lavanya said smiling. "So, could you show me where I can buy some dresses?" She asked.
