"How stupid of me, to think I was the only flower in your garden."

     Indigo's POV

The only thing illuminating the sidewalk we were on was the street lights. The moon wasn't very bright tonight, clouds covered it mostly.

I swung me and Stiles' hands as we walked next to Scott, who had his head down tiredly, not looking too excited for the party we were walking to. Some girl Stiles used to know was having her 17th birthday and I was kind of excited to meet people from Stiles' childhood, since I had none of my own.

"What?" Stiles asked Scott, eyebrows furrowed at his expression. Scott looked to him confused.

"What, what do you mean, 'what'?" He wondered.

"I mean 'what', and you know what." Stiles scoffed.

"What 'what'?" Scott pushed, just as confused as I was.

"The look you were giving." Stiles pointed out.

"I didn't give a look." Scott argued.

"Oh, there was a distinct look, Scott." Stiles nodded, stopping all of us. We stood at the corner of the girl's driveway now.

"What look?" Scott asked.

"The look that says the last thing you feel like doing right now- is going to a party." Stiles rambled.

"It's not that." Scott sighed, shaking his head. "It just seems weird going to a different high school's party."

"What? Would you- God, one drink, all right? You'll be fine. I went to nursery school with this girl, okay? She promised to introduce us to all her friends. So tonight, no Allison, no Lydia. Tonight, you're going to have fun with no girls and I'm going to have fun with mine."

Scott paused, thinking, before he nodded with a smile. "You're right."

"That's right, I'm right." Stiles grinned, looking to me proudly. I chuckled, shaking my head at how cute he was.

"Moving on." Scott spoke aloud.

"Onward and upward." Stiles pointed up to the sky.

"Let's do this." Scott nodded quickly.

We finally walked up the driveway, nearing the front door steps.

"How's my breath smell?" Scott asked, looking to Stiles, who shook his head instantly.

"I'm not smelling your breath."

"Do you have any gum?" Scott asked again. Stiles sighed, snapping his head over to him.

"No, no gum. You're fine."

"Can you at least tell me what kind of party this is?" Scott groaned.

Stiles rolled his eyes, making me laugh at the two. Stiles looked to me as I did and the smile grew on his face. I smiled back at him and he leaned in, giving my lips a small kiss.

"You're not nervous, are you?" He asked.

"Should I be?" I laughed. He did the same, shaking his head. We walked in, seeing people already dancing and laughing around with blue cups in their hands.
