I was setting up for our girls night when my phone rang. " hello?" I said. The number wasn't saved so at first I was hesitant but picked up anyway. " Uh hey Shy told me it was okay to call u. I really hope you don't mind." Then it hit me this what the girl needed to talk to me about. " I'm sure she did and no it's not."
" we haven't really gotten to know each other and I'd appreciated it if u allowed me to take you out to do so." I didn't know this man from a hole in the wall or a can of paint. He was cute thou so why not. It's not like i was in a relationship in fact i was single. "Um okay but text me when and where because right now my sister's are coming over." I said. "Ok then I'll text u asap. Enjoy your night beautiful." He said causing me to smile. I had been so into my conversation i hadn't noticed Shy and Dell walked in. "What you all smiling for big sis?" Shy lil nosey ass asked. " that was the man from the club we went to a while ago. And he told me u gave him my damn number!" She laughed like i told the funniest joke as Dell went in the fridge pulling out the fruit bowl i had made for tonight. "Girl please hes sexy as hell no baby momma no girlfriend lives alone and is successful. If anything u can say i did u a favor. Big ass upgrade from Ray." She mumbled the last part but i heard her. And no i wasn't mad i just wish she would have asked first. Cause everything that she said was true. At least I agreed. "Umm Dell why it look like u getting thick?" I said. Her eyes Damn near jumped out her head. "You.know me i stay eating." Me and shy looked at each other then her and together said," mhm." She just cheesed and the doorbell rang finally with our pizza. Or so i thought. "Ummm delivery for a Shyanne Walker." She walked to the door. " yeah that's me." " these are for u from a bishop Carlos." There stood the most beautiful flowers i had ever seen. "Just sign here..... Thank you have a good night." She smiled then it faded away. "Shy what's wrong your bestfriend sent them, that's good right?"
" yeah Ra but i think i really like him like want more than a friendship but at first i told him i only wanted a friend. I've never had a boyfriend because of you know. And now i want him. We already do couple things. Besides sex.But why not?" Shy.was right she was only with Toni since she was 15. And never once did she date men after what my mother's dead brother did to my baby. " honestly Shy i.think u should tell bishop how u feel. I mean yes tell us all the time but we can only give u great advice. Do what u want and feel is right." Dell said. I was shocked Ms.doesntdorelationships done turned into Dr.Phill. For the rest of that night we just chilled and laughed like old times. My mind drifted to the call earlier and i was excited i.couldn't wait to get acquainted with Mr sexy.
