I shuffle through my bedside looking through my medications and such. Ah here they are. As I clean off my crooked glasses I open my drawer, two books lay there. Both are my pride and joy.

I place one neatly to the side as I pick up the other, it may be odd but if they aren't neat I get extremely twitchy. As I pick up my bible I search the exact page I was on. My father, being a priest, has past down this book to me. He had so many other options, he could have given it to Michael or Gabe, even Anna! But when I was old enough to understand values he past this to me with a grin he stated

" Castiel, angels are watching over you, I want you to take this book and cherish it. " ever since I was little I have read the bible, I was the only kid to go willingly to Sunday school and the only to actually pay attention in church, I hung on every word. My father and mother were harsh on me as a child. I needed to be a perfect angel, ( which I mainly was )

Things started getting rough at home when mom died, my father became like one of Anna's plastic dolls with the painted on smiles whilst at home which he wasn't usually. we all started tearing apart. I became very inverted and kept to myself, I skipped bible camp which was very shameful to me but I was in grief, Gabe kept a smile on but he became more teasing towards me, Michael Became more aggressive, I could list everyone that changed but that would take forever.

I trace over the words with my fingers  H-O-L-Y B-I .A ding comes and startles me from My trance. A text appears from my phone and illuminates the room, other than my lamp I have no source of light in here, it's just from my father, " have a great day tomorrow! Get some rest, " I sigh and put the book down in my drawer, maybe dad is right. I need to be ready in the morning.

I altered the chapter a tiny bit as you can see. I think the road it was going to take really couldn't be written. Thanks
