"What the shrimp?!" Ch. 1

"Whatcha reading?" Violet said as she jumped on me bed. Violet is my best friend. She's very perky and very pretty.

"Potter." I said while flipping a page. Violet sighed and layed down. She let out a groan and rolled over.

"Can I do your makeup?" She asked while pulling down my book. I shook my head and continued reading. She sighed then stood up.

"Can we at least do something." Violet asked while standing by the doorway. I could tell she was getting annoyed.

"Fine. But please no shopping." I said while putting my bookmark in and setting it down on my night stand.

"Yay. Okay, no shopping but can we at least browse around. I hear Jenny's is having a sale. They do have good crop tops." V asked while getting her bag.

"Yeah. I do like crop tops, have you seen the hoodies that are crop tops?" I said while putting on my high tops.

"I love those, freaking Missy Miller has two and they are hella pretty." Violet said while sighing.

"Let's go find one." I said while walking down the stairs. My mother was barley just walking in the door. It's around 1:00 pm. My mothers a nurse and she works days and nights.

"Hey princess." She said while putting her bags on the kitchen table.

"Hi momma, can me and V go explore around?" I said while giving her a hug.

"I'll have her back by 3:00. I promise." V said while pretending to pray.

"Fine. But no big shopping sprees." She said while passing me a twenty.

"You know me..." I mumbled while grabbing it. I probably won't spend it on clothes. Probably on books or food.

"I'll drive." I said while grabbing my keys to my Jeep.

"As always." She said while walking out the door.

I got into the car, throwing my bag in the back. Violet opened the door and did the same.

"We are so reckless." I said while starting the car.

"Okayyyy." Violet said while snorting.

"Shut up." I mumbled while laughing a bit.

"Did you see Caleb on Thursday. Damn, I want him to be my daddy." Violet said while laughing.

"Aggressive." I said while laughing with her.

"His jawline is amazing." She said while sighing.

"You better stop before you get pregnant." I said while pulling into Wendy's.

"Oh, I want a large fry." She said as she pulled out her wallet.

"Oh goodie. We can add that on to the long list of things you want. Which includes Caleb." I said while taking her money.

"Shut up and order my food woman."
