Avery's p.o.v

Cameron and I weren't in the mood for partying so she actually let me in her room. I walked in and it was beautiful! Her walls were a navy blue color.

She had many dream catchers hanging from her walls. "I really like your room! It is very unique." She smiled at me for the first time since I got here today. "Thank you. I'm sorry for being a bitch. I just didn't know how to react."

She gave me an apologetic look. "Don't worry about it, it's fine." I returned the smile back to her. "Tell me about yourself Cameron." She hesitated but began speaking

"well, I am twenty years old. I have the power to read minds. I really like my ability because it has saved my ass from being heartbroken so many times. I took the role as an alpha two years ago even though I am female. I learned my powers and abilities and I also learned the boys. I only told them the basics but they have a shitload. They will be the most powerful alphas. Don't tell them I told you this, they will have to find that out on their own." She giggled. I nodded and let out a small giggle as well. "Now you tell me about yourself."

"I am sixteen normally girls my age are sophomores, but my intelligence brought me to my senior year. My parents and brother left me and Leslie my now dead sister to fend for ourselves since I was only five. I never knew my family were full of vampires till yesterday. I don't know if I am a vampire or not. I don't think I am because I've never needed any blood."

She held her hand out. "I can help you figure it out this is one of my abilities." I held out my hand and she grabbed it with both of hers softly. She closed her eyes and breathed. She opened her eyes and her eyes were a beautiful gold. She put my hand down and looked at me.

"Avery, you aren't a vampire." I sighed in relief. "You are a hybrid." My breathing hitched. "I'm a what bird?" I gave her a confused look. "Your parents never left you. Your father was a vampire and your mom was a werewolf."

What the fuck?! Well then what happened to them?

"Your mom fell in love, but your dad never did. Once she had three kids he killed her." Tears started forming in my eyes. "Your brother and sister were born humans. He bit your brother as a newborn and your brother bit your sister. It is a very complicated story, but you were the only hybrid. You are part vampire and part wolf Avery!"

She started jumping in excitement but I felt dizzy. Then suddenly everything went black. "Uhhh, Avery?"
