Okay so I just watched Moulin Rouge yesterday (oh god,, what a feel trip) and I thought hey why not an au about it?

In which an evil businessman (John) tries to woo a beautiful courtesan (Ringo) who loves a peniless guitar player (George). Things are getting heated when John promises Ringo a lifetime of wealth and an acting career and the forbidden love of the two are shown in the spotlight.
