"By the way, my name is Lance." He says, his eyes opening, flooding through my soul.
"Oh, that's a cool name," I say, sitting up and stretching. "Well, my name is...""Alice, my name is Alice." I said, still staring at Lance. "Oh, cool." He said back to me, smiling and reaching out his hand. "Let me help you up, Alice." I nodded, taking his hand, but quickly retracted my arm. "Oww, damn!" I yelled, and he stared at me. "What?"
"YOUR HAND IS LIKE A FUCKING FIRE!" I screamed, looking at my hand turn a golden brown color. "MY HAND IS A FREAKING BISCUIT BECAUSE OF YOU!!" I straightened my hand and smacked Lance across his face, his skin that was once pale turning a hot red. "Okay, okay, I got it! Shut up damn it, they might find me!" He whispered, putting his hand over his left cheek, and his red eyes darting around. "Wait, what?" I said, my arms connecting with my hips. "You mean to tell me that your on the run?" He nodded, and placed his pointer finger over my mouth. "Shut it." He whispered again, and he then punched me in my thigh, which caused me to black out.-------------------------------------------------------
I felt a pair of hands wrap around my body, one lacing over my arms, one around my torso. I was lifted up off of the ground, my body becoming wobbled and unbalanced. I tried to struggle, wriggle or squirm, yet my body was paralyzed or something, and I could not move. A scattered choir of voices rang in my right ear, slowly fading with every heavy step of my captor's feet against the stone floor. "Where is he?" A low, starchy voice called. "Check the ceiling, I'll go right, Spades, take left, got it?" "Yes ma'am." Four voices said in unison, and I echo of footsteps and skips rang in my ears. I slowly opened my eyes, and as I looked forward, I could only see a foggy, yet clear mat of white, frilly hair.
