I ran a hand through my dark, straight red hair, and set off to English. By 5th period, I had heard so many I'm sorry for your losses, I could write a book. I sighed, and leaned against the wall outside class. My head pounded, and I shut my eyes, holding back tears. I sucked in my breath, and walked into English. It was a large classroom, with a wall of windows on the far side. It was my favorite room, and favorite teacher. Ms. Reese sat at her desk, her blonde haired pulled back into a loose bun, and her brown eyes in concentration grading papers. She was young for a teacher, fresh out of college. I could never imagine teaching while I was 23, but I guess she did. She looked up and gave me a sympathetic smile, and I smiled back. I walked to the back of the class, and sat in my seat, right next to the windows. The sun shined in, lighting up my desk, and me.  My hair shined when the sun hit it, and I lifted my head back and smiled. The class slowly began to fill up. Kelly sat across the room, thank god, and my friend, Tish, sat in front of me. Her curly brown hair was distracting, and I always found myself messing with it instead of listening to the lecture. How I often wished my hair was like this.  Right before the bell rang, Jackson walked in, and the room fell silent. His hair, which was light brown, that had a golden aspect to it, was still there, failing to meat Kelly's rumours. His eyes were puffed up, and he sniffed, and took the last seat next to me. Jackson was Hilary's boyfriend, and they had been close. Everyone imagined them graduating and getting married immediately after. They were the perfect couple. Were.

Ms. Reese stood at the front, and began her lecture almost immediately. I put my head down on my desk, as the sun continued to shine on me. I felt a pair of eyes on my, and slowly turned my head. Jackson was staring at me, and our eyes met. His brownish-golden eyes welled up with tears, and he turned his head away. I sighed, and put my head down. Jackson and I had been close before he met Hilary. After that, he had used me to get closer to her. They clicked, and I was left as a immature junior chasing after a senior. We stopped talking, and I had always gave him one word answers whenever Hilary had brought him over. To be honest, I never really got over him, and remained heart broken through most of my sophmore year. I remember crying into my pillow, and not being able to tell Hillary what was wrong. I sat back in my desk. Soon enough, the bell rang, and I darted out, eager for the day to be over. Just as I was about to reach the door, I felt a hand grab my shoulder. I turned, and Jackson stood there, staring at me. "Uh," he muttered. "I'm sorry for your loss." I stared at him, tears spilling over my eyes. Jackson reached foward, and I pushed him away. I turned, and ran. I heard him call my name, but I didn't turn.

I found myself in a new hallway that I had never been down before. The highschool was huge, and it was easy to get lost in it. I kept walking, unsure of where to go, and reached the end of the hallway, which had two giant glass doors. I pushed the door open, and found myself in a green house. I looked up, and smiled, as there was a white orchid hanging above me.

"Like it?"

I turned, and found myself facing a black haired boy, with bright green eyes, and holding another orchid in his hand. "It's beautiful," I said. I spun around the green house, which was filled with all different typed of plants, flowers, and the occasional butterfly. "Not many people manage to wander over here," He said, smiling. I looked at him. He looked familiar, but I couldn't place his face. "Do I know you?" I said, puzzled. He grinned, "Probably not, I'm a junior." I stared at him. "Well, so am I, but I've never seen you," I said, my eyes obviously confused. "I think I knew your sister, Hilary? She was here last week. I'm sorry about what happened," he said. "It's ok, I'm numb." I looked around. "Well, I better get to lunch, but what was your name?" He smiled at me, and said, "My name is Leo."  I smiled. "Well, I'll see you around, Leo." He grinned back at me, and walked off.
