Chapter 16~

-Louis' POV-

   I sat on the back yard steps, alone. It was probably midnight, and I kept drifting off into sleep. I kept looking back inside to see if Niall was ready, but he was with his friends talking. "Louis, thats your name right?"A voice asked. I turned and seen a girl with brown hair and a white dress. I nodded. "You hungry?"She asked. "Im okay."I lied. She nodded and walked away.

  So much for the politness. I was tired, to tired to even walk. If Niall didn't come within the next few minutes, I was going to sleep on the picnic table. This was no joke. "Shut up Greg!"I heard Niall's laugh from a short distance. "Come on babe...Louis?"Niall asked. "I'm..tired.."I whispered. Niall grabbed my hand and the cold wind hit me so hard I almost fell ontop of him. "Careful,"Niall chuckled. "Carry me.."I begged quietly. Niall lifted me up bridal style, I rested my head on his shoulder and rested my eyes.

  I flinched as I heard thunder coming from outside. "We should've stayed at my moms.."Niall hissed. I opened my eyes and seen rain everywhere on the outside, nope. "Pull over somewhere."I felt my hands start to shake. "I could drive...In the rain Louis,"Niall said with a slight stern in his voice. I only believed him slightly. "You sure?"I heard my voice crack. "Yea, I took my test in the rain..And passed. I can do this."Niall smiled but kept his eyes on the road.

  I tried to sleep but the thunder and memories kept crawling back. "Niall, please just pull at some garage place!!"I covered my eyes and my feet on the seat. "What is your problume!?"Niall said, concern filled his voice like the rain outside. "I dont want us to get hurt just please!!"I cried out. "Were almost home anyways!"Niall snapped. Almost...almost wasn't enough. "Just, calm down.."Niall said softly. Yea...calm down..it wont happen again, it wont. I calmed down a little, and tried to remain that way till we got home.

  To the sight of the way it looks now, It was going to be like this all night. I heard the engine cut off and seen Niall put his hood up and get out the car. "Run inside..Imma find parking."Niall said. I nodded and did what he told me to do. I seen the car drive off and I closed the door. I went upstairs and changed into my sweat pants and shirt. I took my glasses off and turned the lamp off. "Niall...."I whispered to myself silently.
