Chapter 2: Infiltrating 3-E

[Y/N] P.O.V.

"So, what do you guys do here?" I turned to look at Kayano.

She put her finger to her chin, pondering. "Not much. Honestly it's similar to what you do on the Kunugigaoka High campus," she shrugged her shoulders.

I nodded, relieved that I didn't have to do anything different. "Well there is one difference." Kayano trailed off.

I looked over and tilted my head, "What is it?"

Kayano stuttered over her words a lot, trying to get out what she wanted to tell me. "You see, [Y/N], our teacher-"

"Come on slowpokes! Time won't wait for you!" We looked over at Karma waving his arms at us and laughing. Nagisa was by his side smiling at him.

I couldn't contain my giggles as Kayano shook her head in annoyance. We both quickly ran to the boys and followed them inside.

We all stopped in front of a door. I looked up, '3-E' it read. "Here we are!" Nagisa opened the door and I was immediately hit with dozens of pairs of eyes. The rest of the group said their 'hellos' and 'good mornings' to their friends. I shuffled in my place awkwardly, not knowing what to do.

A boy came over to me and waved. I smiled slightly and waved back, "Hello."

"I'm guessing you're new here?"

I nodded, "It's super obvious, isn't it?"

He shrugged and held out a hand, "I'm Sugino."

"[Y/N]."

Sugino suddenly went forward and almost ran into me. I jumped back and looked up at the boy who pushed him. His eyes met mine and he stood straight. "Hey, who's this?" He asked.

Sugino rubbed the back of his head and gestured to me, "This is [Y/N], she's new to E Class."

I gave him a small wave, "It's nice to meet you."

He grinned and strutted over to me, laying his arm around my shoulders. "The name's Maehara, but you can call me whatever you want sweetheart," he sang. I gave him a small, awkward laugh and stepped away, looking down to try to calm my heated face. No one has ever said something so forward to me before.

"Leave the lady alone, Maehara," a voice spoke up. I looked over and saw another boy. He introduced himself, "I'm Isogai, I apologize for his behavior," he chuckled.

"It's not a..a problem!" I piped up. Curse my slight stutter, all because I became flustered over the perv in the room.

More and more people came over and introduced themselves. I was quickly becoming friends with many of the students here. There were a special few I can't seem to get along with just yet though. Kayano took hold of my hand and led me over to an empty desk.

"This is where you'll sit! It's right behind me and across from Nagisa," she chirped. I smiled and placed my bag down. It was a window seat, allowing me to have a great view of the back of the school.

There was a small ringing sound that echoed in the classroom. We all looked up and everyone walked to their seats and sat down. I took a seat as well. I rested my hand on my chin and glanced out the window.

'I wonder what the teacher will be like.'

I heard small whispers coming from Nagisa and Kayano. I tried listening to them but they were too quiet. They both glanced back at me and Kayano tapped my shoulder. "Uh, [Y/N], did they ever tell you anything about this class?"

I looked at her weird, "They only told me that they were transferring me here due to my test scores last quarter. Why, is there something they didn't tell me?"

I could see the small panic in their eyes when I spoke. "Well you see, our teacher-"

Kayano was cut off when the door slid open. I looked over and my jaw dropped.

"Good morning class! I hope you are all well rested and ready for a fun day of learning!"

There standing in the doorway was...
