HEY! I just want to let y'all know, this is inspired by true blood! I love that show so much.

This world today has vampires, we know about them. They created some drink they could live off called Blood Red, unfortunately I live in a small town which means I haven’t and probably will never meet a vampire, why would they move here of all places? I sighed and look up to my best friend Dallas, with her long brown hair, brown eyes and skinny frame every girl is jealous of her, hell even I am. A little bit.

“Harley,” Duke – my boss – waved a hand in front of my eyes. “You have customers.”

“Oh sorry Duke.” I said and he shook his head, I walked over to my two new customers. “Hey there, welcome to Duke’s how can I help you today?”  I asked and saw the man, staring at me with those gorgeous blue eyes, I smiled and looked to the woman who was also staring at me.

“We’ll take two Blood Reds, A+ and B+ please.” The man smiled at me.

“Sure…I just go get that for you.” I walked to the bar and grabbed two Blood Reds for our very first vampires. “Dallas, we’ve got our first vampires.” I told her.

“Which one walked in first? Do they even walk? If I was a vampire I’d learn to fly.” She babbled on.

“I don’t know.” I shrugged and walked over the vampires. “Here are you’re drinks. If y’all need anything else, just shout.”

“We’re your first vampires then?” The woman smirked at me.

“How-How did you hear that? I was all the way over there.” I asked.

“Vampires have heightened senses, baby doll.” Her voice was soft yet dangerous.

“Dani, behave.” The man said. “I’m sorry, she doesn’t know how to treat humans.”

“Oh, you thought I was scared? Hell no, I just didn’t know y’all did have heightened senses.” I smiled.

“So you’re not scared we could drink your blood?” Dani asked and raised an eyebrow.

“Y’all wouldn’t get that near to my neck, you hear that.” I said and put an arm on the table. “Dani, you shouldn’t say stuff like that to humans, some may not take like I do.”

“I like this one Ezra.” Dani smiled at the man. “I like you indeed, you’re not like other humans…”

“Don’t tell her that she might take it as an insult.” Ezra said and I laughed.

“Don’t be silly,” I sat down next to Dani and looked at Ezra. “Humans treat me like shit anyway, so I prefer to my own race – Harley.” I shrugged my shoulders.

“Why not? You’re hot and funny.” Dani said.

“Because they may put up with me but everyone in this town knows I’m the girl who lost her parents, they always treat me like I’m still a child and not twenty-four.” I said. “Oh, my god. How old are y’all?” 

“Hundred and fifty.” Dani said. “Ezra though, god he’s the oldest one since his maker you know met the sun.”

“I am not revealing my age. Harley?” He said.

“Oh, Harley is my name. Nice to meet you Dani and Ezra. Yeah I pick up on a lot while just sitting there.” I smirked and walked away.

“Harley he’s so hot.” Dallas said as I got to the bar. “Get with it.” I burst out laughing and shook my head.
