    Every year, Mason Corporation holds a gala to appreciate the people who help with the success of this business. This year, Arden Engineers is invited to participate in this causal event. The Gala is our industry's preeminent social and networking event of the year with nearly 112 high-ranking figures from the global world of business. We would be delighted to have the opportunity to host you for this night. Once we have received your confirmation, we will arrange to deliver your ticket(s) to you personally in advance of the gala.

    "Sebastian!"

    "Yes ma'am?"

    "Can you please call Mason Corporation and tell them that I have accepted their offer and will be attending their gala?"

    "Of course."

    "Thank you."

    Mason corp. was one of the largest corporations in the world, with almost 2 billion dollars of net worth. My goal was to one day be more widely recognized than the CEO of Mason corp. I had never met him nor cared enough to do my research on who he was. The only reason I was invited was because I sent one of the labs at the corporation a design for a new product that they wanted to produce. They thought it was brilliant, and rightfully so.

    I take pride in who I am as a person now. I used to be weak and naïve, and always cried when things didn't go my way. But I realized that in the business industry there is no room for crybabies. In order to be someone accomplished you must be harsh and straightforward.  Never regretting any calculated decision I had ever made.

    With certain strategies that go unnoticed and incredibly hard work, I made my way to somewhere near the top. The most important overlooked strategy for me, was the right dress. Unfortunately being a 23 year old woman in the business industry, meant that I had to build techniques that are sexist at their base, but in actuality, work. An eye-caching dress means that more people will come and try to start a conversation with me. Which then leads to me making convenient connections.

    I grabbed my car keys and headed out the door, making sure to tell Sebastian where I was going. He only nodded in response, already knowing the exact store.

    When I turned the engine on, the faint chanting of yesterday's music traveled through the car. I plugged in my headphones and made important calls about issues that needed to be addressed immediately. They were the usual calls by old men who were upset because I supposedly took too much of their money and my business was a waste of effort. These calls have always amused me because I know that they would never try to pull something like this with another man. In the time that it took me to get to the store, I set up two meetings and fixed a small programing glitch.

    When I got out of the car, I handed the valet person my keys and headed inside of the small yet extravagant store. The place itself screamed arrogance and money. Two of my best qualities.

    "Hello, young lady, what can I do for you?" Asked a middle aged woman behind a rack of dresses.

    "I am looking for a blue dress that's long and has a small amount of jewels around the breast area," I responded back with a tight smile.
