Day 9 - Thursday
"Running home to mummy again?" I heard someone snicker as I left the uni grounds. I turned a corner to find three or jocks shoving someone between them. The brown, floppy curls were unmistakable. Ashton. "What's your problem, freak? Afraid of a little fun?" Another jock laughed, his smile wide and nasty. I wanted to give him a taste of his own medicine right then and there. Ashton was punched in the stomach and I ran to his side quickly, making sure he didn't fall to the floor.
"I think you should go," I spoke as I looked up at one of the idiots who thought this was fun. Ashton beside me. Him standing straight now.
"So weak his freak of a girlfriend has to stand up for him," the ass laughed hysterically, the other boys joining in. Ashton took hold of my wrist in his hand as he pulled me away, only to be stopped by the shithead that started all of this. Ashton said nothing but I felt his body tense before me as I stood slightly behind him.
"Until next time then," I heard the dick speak as he moved to the side slightly, Ashton pulling me with him as we left.
"Go," he spoke as he nodded in the opposite direction, letting go of my wrist.
"Ash-"
"Go so I know you're safe, I need to leave," he said urgently. It was clear that he had something he needed to do and so I left after I looked him in the eye one last time. I turned away and began my walk home, seeing as I missed the bus and by the time the next one came I would probably already be home if I walked. I turned back to see him sprint around the corner of the street.
