Day 8 - Tuesday
Tuesday was the one day we didn't have history. So basically it was the one day that I wasn't guaranteed to see Ashton. Which in a way really bugged me. The day dragged on and on and I couldn't seem to stop my eyes from roaming the uni grounds as I changed classes or when I sat during breaks. He never came back to sit beneath that tree after that day I spotted him across from me. I didn't seem to see him anywhere else on break. Maybe he stayed in class and caught up on all the work he missed? Maybe I should go check out the halls? Stop, Lettie, you're being ridiculous and kind of creepy. My mind told me and that's when I realised that I was being a little strange. Sure he was intriguing but I had to give him space. If he wanted to talk to me, he would. I mean I've already told him I'm here if he needs anything.. In front of his mother may I add. "Ashton doesn't interact with many people." I couldn't get his mothers words out of my head . So what, Ashton didn't interact with people, ever? The way she said it was almost like she was apologising. Well maybe I should push getting to know Ashton. Maybe he's not quite sure how to start.
