Young Justice One Shots ✔️

Bluepulse 1

This is my first time doing a bluepulse shot, so if anyone has a recommendation a really appreciate it.  I hope you like it.

The computer announce the arrival of beta squad, returning  from Lex Corp investigating some Intel about a new weapon, the Light is creating.

"Beta squad, welcome." Says Aqualad. Noticing that Impulse is holding is ribs. "Report."

"The mission was a failure, we didn't gather much information. " Said Tigress. "It was like they were distracting us, why? We can't be sure. Also, there were tiny complications. Some goons appeared but we manage."

"It's fine. " Replied Aqualad looking at Bart. "We will investigate later, right now, why won't you take a rest. And impulse maybe you'll like to go to the infirmary for a check up. "

Impulse nodded. Heading towards the infirmary, meanwhile some of the team beta went to their homes and others went to the common area or kitchen. Nothing bad happened to Bart it was just a little bit crack, with some rest it will heal because of being a speedster.

Impulse went to his room in the watchtower for some rest. As time pass, he heard a knock in the door. In the instant he opened it, seeing his best friend Blue Beetle.

"Hi Hermano." Said Jaime. " How it went?"

" It went fine. " Bart answered. Jaime wonder what happened to Bart, he's acting strange. He's not feeling hyperactive anymore rather than feeling the mode. And that's weird because he's always happy and hyperactive.

"Oh well. I will be leaving. " Said Jaime rubbing the back of his head. "My mom will be worried. Call me if you need anything. "

"Okay..." Bart said as he closed the door.

Later that day, Jaime went to find Aqualad, telling him about what happened to Bart. Worrying for him. He didn't like seeing Bart like this, he wanted to make Bart happy, like old times.

Aqualad told him that he would look it up but for now, maybe he could spend more time with Bart and see if he could find anything new to the case.

The next day, Jaime found Bart in his room at the watchtower and ask him if he wanted to watch a movie. Bart agreed and they went to the room with a TV on it in the watchtower. Jaime plug in Friday 13 and both of them sat on the couch with a pair of sodas and chicken whizees. As the movie began, it was all normal. But Jaime suspect something is happening to Bart because he always was very excited and hyperactive toward this movie and now he barely recognize it.

~Time skip~

During the whole movie it was quiet. Neither of them spoke, until there was a part of the movie where Bart jumped and scream. Jaime thought that was weird. Because Bart favorite part of the movie was this one specifically and just scream like that it was odd, he never scream. He would say that was so crash. But he can't be suspicious, it's Bart he's talking about.

Jaime, this friend of yours is has something in his mind.  Says the scarab.

Jaime can't stop worrying about him. So, he decided to break the silence.

"Are you okay, Bart?" Says Jaime in a worrying tone. Bart turned around and look at Jaime. "Are you frightened?"

"I...am..." Bart tried to answer, looking down with a little blush in his cheeks feeling embarrassed. "I'm fine, just I little scared. "
