Adrian took them inside and Finn couldn't believe how beautiful the entrance hall was. On the outside it looked like a big house for sure, but there were steps leading down from the front door. This made the ceiling even higher. Sphinxes were placed in opposing ends of the hall. "Nice touch, the sphinxes." Said Shea as she nodded to the statues. "I had them moved from my palace." Said Adrian. "I thought they might be lonely." The passed the door at the end of the hallway and reached a far smaller living room. There were couches and a fireplace, and a great number of books. In the corner were three flatscreens. They sat down and Finn looked around admiring the books and art pieces in the room. "You haven't aged a day." He heard Shea say. "How'd you do that?" Adrian smiled. "A combination of some unofficial youth serums and sleeping during the winter, my dear." Finn looked at the man. Indeed he looked very young, and Finn was too polite to ask how old he was. He knew the man was a little younger than his mother, but he looked like a 25 year old. It made Finn uncomfortable so he looked the other way again. Adrian had noticed however and flashed Finn a quick smile. "How is Dan?" He asked politely. "His son just graduated highschool. So I'd say he's doing okay." "He still doesn't want to meet you." She said. Adrian looked sad for a moment. Then he stood up from the couch opposite them. "Are you hungry, or thirsty?" He asked. "I had a meal prepared." Thank you. Said Shea. Adrian then texted someone. A few minutes later a woman with a tray full of food came in. She left and returned with tea. They thanked her, then Finn took a hamburger. "It's very good." He said with a full mouth. Shea shook her head at his caveman behaviour. Adrian said that he thought Finn would like it.

After some time they finished eating dinner. It had been a long day, so Adrian showed them the guest bedrooms. Finn noticed that the house was filled with Greek and Egyptian antiques. There were paintings and sculptures of sphinxes, pharaohs, and one of a Greek looking god. At least Finn thought it was a god. When he asked Adrian about the painting, the man laughed and said it was in fact Alexander the Great. When Adrian had left Shea and Finn to themselves, the boy decided to ask her how old Adrian was. She laughed. "You must have been just as surprised as I was." She said. "He is 35." They talked for a few minutes, then Finn wished his mother goodnight. Finn entered his room. It was deliberately small it seemed. There was a closet and a bed, further there was a separate bathroom. On the pillow of the bed there was a small booklet. It was entirely empty, with a pen lying next to it. Finn took the booklet and drew a Pharaoh. He made the character look like Adrian. He might find it funny. Then he put the booklet down and brushed his teeth before lying down. He kept thinking why Shea would want him to meet her friend. He didn't know Adrian. He also didn't really want to know the man. It could be dangerous terrain seeing as the man was older than he looked. Eventually Finn had successfully pushed Adrian out of his mind, and he fell asleep.
