Alice's POV
My life has never been easy. When everyone says that their life is horrible because their hair is bad or their fat or their parents are mean because they didn't let you go to a party, but, that's not as bad as I have it. I've moved six times since grade three. And because of my stupid mother.
Someone creeps up behind me and I jump up.
Dressed in a dark hoodie, barely looking out, Shawn.
We walk together, talking about random things, and my new family. We arrive at the school and split into separate ways. I go to the left and he goes to the middle.
"Isn't out class this way?" I ask.
"Ya, and so are the grade 12s piled into the hall," he responds,"if I was you, I'd go this way,"
I correct him,"if I were you," we stare at each other while walking towards the door.
