I ran for what felt like hours. Then all of the sudden, my little tummy hurt. It roared like a dragon that is getting ready to attack. I was hungry. Just at the moment, I really wanted to dig in to the yummy big girl cat food mother was talking about. I loved running free into the magical forest, yet I was so hungry. "The sun is setting and I'm so hungry. I will return to this magical place very soon." And at the moment I skipped home. Hours went by, and home wasn't found. It was getting dark and the bats started to come out. I was getting scared. "Momma? Daddy! Dug, Mia, Addison! Anyone! Please answer me. I was scared. Just then I heard something. Something I have heard before. At the barn I was raised at, and the barn I wished to be at this very moment. Mother and Father told me and the rest of my brothers and sisters to stay far away from this noise. And the creature was dangerous. "Everest? Is that you. I know you enjoy playing pranks and spooking all of us back at the barn, but this is not funny anymore! Everest I'm hungry and scared!" But Everest was not to been seen or heard. Just then the bushes rustled once again. And a creature jumped out. It had long hair , and I felt like a worm compared to it. It reached for me. I ran and ran for my dear life. Yet I was not fast enough. It scooped me up and I closed my eyes real tight. I was ready for it to swallow me up and that would be the end for sweet little Molly. "You sweet kitten. Molly. What a Beautiful name. Well, I'm Paige. Paige Marina CrayCreek. You must be lost, poor little kitten. This wood is very pretty but a little harmless kitten is no match for the wolves or worse, bears that lark deep in this very wood. They only come out at night!" I whined. "Sorry Molly. I must be scaring you. I must take you home with me tonight. My parents said I could. Come along, sweet Molly." I stared up at Paige. She had long blonde hair and pretty hazel-ish eyes. I liked Paige. She saved my life. Just then, my head fell against her chest and I closed my eyes. I thought this was all a dream.
When I woke the next morning, Paige was holding me and she smiled at me. "Good morning Molly. I have some fresh Tuna and milk for you today. We are taking you to the veterinarian office today to check that everything is okay with you. Besides, you are out in the woods all alone. I love you, Molly." I smiled and whispered, "I love you too, Paige."
