Your everything
Everytime I look at you
I see who I used to be
Not what we used to beCold, misty morning's
I would cuddle into your chest
Just the way a baby does to its mother
Our fingers intertwined Even though your hands
Completely covered mineLaid back Saturdays on my couch
We would talk for hours
Forgetting about the movie playing
As if we were lost in our own fairytaleHeated times...
When you would unravel me like a gift
Butterfly kisses on my neck
Oooh those kisses...
I still feel them from time to timeI remember my 16th birthday
Only because you you were there
You covered my face with cake
And slowly kissed it off afterwardsRemember that music festival we went to?
Under bright strobe lights
Amongst gyrating teens
You kissed me so soft
So delicately
I've never been kissed that way beforeThe way you looked at me
As if I was your favourite thing
But now I see you look at her that wayEvery time I look at you
I see what I used to be
And what I used to be
Was your everything
