MARIES POV (MOM)
"Doctor are you sure she's going to be alright, because I really don't want to loose her." Is that brian?
I slowly open my eyes and I am met with throbbing pain around my head.
"I wouldn't want to loose you either." I said weakly.
He turns around and His eyes widen. "YOUR AWAKE!!!"
"Yes, I am." As Im wondering why Im here, it all rushes into my memory. Everything was going great. That one phone call just changed my life. Our lives. Ill talk to him when we get home.
"Babe, what happened? Do you remember anything?" Brian asked. His voice filled with concern.
I do but I won't let him know.
"No? Why am I here anyway?" I play along.
"You fainted."
"Oh."
"How are you feeling Mrs. Mcbride?" The doctor asked, breaking the awkward tension.
"Minimal pain here and there, but Im alright."
"Okay, since your awake were going to run some tests. And shortly after you can go home. Sounds good?"
"Yes. Thank you."

*EARLIER THAT DAY*
BRIANS POV (DAD)
"Yess!!! Pleasssee! Mommy!!" Hope sceams and jumps with exitment.
She makes her way out her bedroom door. I catch her and throw her in the air.
"And wheres my princess off to?"
I ask with a huge smile on my face.
Hope giggles
"The bathroom!!!" She screams trying to wiggle out of my arms.
I look up at my wife and she looks really tired. Ever since Hope was born she gave in all her energy for Hope.
"Babe how about I go run her a bath and you can go ahead and start on breakfast."
"Sounds good to me. Hope hun, what do you want for breakfast?"
Hope places her finger on her chin and looks up at the ceiling in deep thought.
"uhhhhh, um pancakes and and soda and fries and............"
"I think some pancakes and a glass of milk will do." My wife says as a wide smile slowly creeps up to her face.
She starts heading to the kitchen. I grab Hope and put her on my back and I sprint to the bathroom.
I remove hopes clothes, fill the tub with water, add some bubbles and place her in.
"Princess, I want you to wait in the tub for daddy. I forgot your clothes." I say making sure she stays put.
"Okay. Daddy hurry upppp!"
I walk out the bathroom and make my way to Hopes room. When I enter her room I grab her picked out clothes in the closet and make my way back to the bathroom. As Im heading back I hear a loud thump from our room. Hope runs out the bathroom butt naked, and we both make it to my room at the same time.
What I saw made me tremble. My wife on the floor uncontious with my phone in her hand.
Hope runs to her mother on the floor.
"Mommy? Are you dead? DADDY DO YOU SEE WHAT YOU DID? YOU LET MOMMY DIE!!!"
