CHAPTER 7

MARIES POV(mom)

After waking up from that nightmare I couldn't go back to sleep so I decided to figure out how im going to tell Brian that I know about him being sick.

I wake up to the smell of bacon. I remove the cover from on top of me and got up. I sit on the bed thinking about how Brian is going to react. I don't know if I should just tell him to get it off my chest or let him tell me. I need answers and I'm going to get them.

"BABE!!!!!!" Brian yells from downstairs. Now making his way up the stairs.

I wrap myself back in the covers. I lye down and pretend to be asleep.

I hear Brian walk in the room. I peek and see him make his way to our bathroom. He stays in there for a while and I start wondering what he's doing.

twenty minutes later, he walks out the bathroom. He makes his way to me. All of a sudden, the covers gets pulled off of me and I feel my body being lifted up in the air. I open my eyes, and see Brian with a wide smirk on his face.

"Morning beautiful."

I smile.

"After having kids, your body still looks so beautiful. Oh I remember the first day I saw that piece of cake. The wait was long, but it was worth it." He says winking. Making me blush. Ive known him for years and he's still able to make me blush.

He carries me to the bathroom bridal style and places me in the tub filled with water. "Today, daddy's taking you a bath." He says with that same smirk on his face.

My eyes roam around the bathroom and I notice that the lights are off and there's candles everywhere.

"This is something I wouldn't want to loose." I whisper more to my self.

"What?"

"Nothing hubby, just do your thang." And then it went down.

*LATER THAT DAY*

After this morning, Brian decided to take Hope to the park and I decided to come along.

We met a nice couple. Hope made a new friend. I was actually happy to see her playing with another little girl. She's always in the house playing on her own, so now that she has a new friend, she'll have someone to keep her company.

Brian and I would sometimes worry about her socializing skills, due to the fact that she has no friends. But now, we look forward to see how everything turns out.

We're now back to the house, Getting ready for dinner. Brian went to run Hope a bath since she got pretty dirty at the park.

I Finnish dinner and Hope comes downstairs and meets me in the kitchen. "Mommy do you need help setting the table?" I nod and she made her way to the dinner table.

Brian comes downstairs and helps her with the table. I leave them in the kitchen to go freshen up for dinner. We invited the Parkers for dinner tonight. (In case your wondering, the parkers are the couple they met at the park). Im so excited because I don't have much friends myself just for the fact the I'm a full time mother and wife.

I Finnish freshening up and head downstairs. as I'm making my way downstairs I hear a knock on the door. "Ill get it." I inform Hope and Brian.

I grab the door and open it. Penny reaches over and gives me a hug, and shortly after her husband leans in for one too. Little Faith just lets herself in.

I escort them into the house and shut the door behind me. We make our way to the kitchen and I see Hope making her way to her room along with Faith.
