The Roommate

Chapter One

My name is Kinsley Rayn Collier. Im 17. Today is gonna be the best day ever. I'm finally moving into my own apartment! Oh, how I've been waiting for this day!

I can finally move on from my past, my horrifying, awful past.

But anyway, Today was Wednesday. Middle of the week. This means I have only two more days of school until the weekend!! Great, right!

I park my car in the parking lot then walk to meet up with my bestfriend since pre-k, Evelyn.

"Hey Kins!" She says walking up to me and giving me a hug. "Hey Ev"
"So, today's the day! Are you excited??" "Very! Gosh I can't believe I'm gonna be living on my own, it's gonna be great!"

"Do you smell that?" I softly say, disgusted. "I sure do, the aroma of skank fills the air everywhere she goes"

We look over to see none other than Britney Lorenza and her 'crew', Savanna and Ashley. The biggest bitches EVER. They think they run the school. And along with them was Britney's boyfriend, Danny. The school 'bad boy'. His dark brown hair and his ocean blue eyes had almost every girl mesmerized. Except me and Evelyn. I never understood what was SO special about him. He's so rude and doesn't have any manners.

Offhand, Some have saw Britney come out of the janitors closet with other guys and with her shirt on inside out. God only knows why he's still with her.

"Why don't you take a picture, it sure will last longer" I hear a high pitched annoying voice say towards me.

"Speaking of Satan" Evelyn says. We turn around and see Britney standing there with her crew and her boyfriend with his arm draped across her shoulders.

"Oh sweetie, where'd you get that top, Losers R Us?" She says putting her hands on her hips.

"Ah, Britney, always a joy seeing you" I say sarcasticly.

Oddly, I can feel Danny staring at you. Studying you up and down, but you payed no mind to it. To be honest, it was creeping me out.

"I know. I get that a lot."

"Achooo" I fake sneeze. "Oh sorry. I must be allergic to your bullshit!" I say making Evelyn bust laughing.

The bell rings and Evelyn and I walk to first period.

"See ya later?" I say to Britney walking off.

"Ughhhh!" She whines. I hear Danny snicker under his breath.

Evelyn and I laugh on the way to first period.

"Goodmorning class" Mr. Benson says. "Today you will get new assigned seats and these will be for the remainder of the semester. Once you get to your seat and you and your table parter will begin working on textbook page 245 reading about the Holocaust then will complete the chapter questions by writing both the questions and answers to #1-25. Easy peasy, yes?"

Heads nodded. Then he began listing the seats. "Caitlyn and Andrew, here. Haily and Dawn, here.."

Blah blah blah

"Then the back desk is... Kinsley and Danny"
