Chapter Ten

Our plan has now sprung into action. Evelyn and I helped angle the bucket as Danny tied the ropes to the door frame of Danny's room.

I was excited for this plan. But then again, I was also nervous. Britney may be a hell hound, but she wasn't dumb. And I know for sure she would get her revenge somehow. We had to be prepared for anything. Mentally and physically.

We decided to take a break. Evelyn had to go babysit her little cousins, so she couldn't stay for the show. I told her I would Snapchat her everything that went on. That left me and Danny, so we ordered a pizza.

"Have you texted her yet?" I asked taking a bite of my pizza. "Not yet. I was waiting for us to get finished because it won't take her that long to get here." He said pulling out his phone.

"I'm actually kind of nervous" I truthfully state. "Why would you be?" "She isn't dumb, Danny. She will get her revenge on us one way or another and I know it won't be pretty" "well then we will be ready. For anything" he checks the time.

"Well babe, it's almost 4. I guess we should clean up and fill up the bucket. I will text her." I watched as he sent the text

Hey. We can't be together anymore. I'm not happy with you.

His phone then dinged and we read the text that Britney had sent.

Ugh! It's because of that bitch, Kinsley isn't it!! Omg I'm coming over in 10! We WILL talk about this!

I shrugged it off and went to my battle station.

Not even 10 minutes later, a loud bang came from the front door. Danny and I looked at each other, and he nodded for me to get into place and out of sight of Britney. I hid in my bedroom with my ear pressed against the door.

"Have you lost your mind!" Her voice shrieked. I heard Danny close the door. "No, I'm pretty positive it's still there" I silently chuckled to myself at his comment. "Where is she? I swear when I find her I will be-"

"You aren't gonna go near her!" Danny raised his voice. To be honest, it shocked me a little. He rarely ever raised his voice.

"Why would you even go back to someone like her!? Remember all the fun we had?" She tried to sweeten her voice, but it only made her sound more slutty.

"That wasn't fun. That was just a distraction. And what do you mean someone like her? Cause to be real, she's a hell of a lot better person then you'll ever be!" I hear them walk over to Danny's room and I get a text from him saying to go.

I quietly walked out and grabbed the rope. She was standing in his doorway as he wasn't letting her into his room as they continued their bickering. I pulled the rope as the bucket tilted until all of the dirty water was covering the floor, as well as Britney.

"I think it's time for you to leave" Danny said.

I couldn't hold my laughter in any longer. I fell to my knees laughing. After I had calmed down I followed Danny and a very wet and furious Britney to the front door. I stopped next to Danny and watched Britney open the door to leave. Danny wrapped an arm around my shoulders, only making Britney glare at us harder.

"This isn't over Collier" and those were her last words before she slammed the door shut. I mentally high fived myself and locked the front door. I looked at Danny for a moment and we burst out laughing.
