Andy comes up to me, and hugs me from behind. His warm body against mine, always calms me down. But nott this time. I really fucked up, and there is no way that he can forgive me after this?
He comes around to the front side of me, and tries to look t my face that is covered by my hands. I do realize what he is doing, and I try to control my crying. But it's useless. Luckily, it doesn't stop, but it calms down.
He holds my hands, and pulls them away from my face. I keep my eyes shut, and slowly open them.
(ANDY'S POV)
I can finally see her eyes. Red and puffy, but I can still see them.
"Emily, I don't hate you for this. I never want you to do this again, ok? You didn't need to do this for me. It'll be fine. I love you no matter what. I made the promise of not leaving you behind, didn't I? I made that promise for a reason. That fire is burning out, and I can't let it go out completly. Please. Please promise me you won't do this again."
She nods, but I can still feel her pain.
I hold her hand with my hand, and wipe her tears with my other hand. She raises her hand, and holds mine against her face.
I bend down, pick up her glasses, and place them gently on her face.
I lead her back over to the blanket, and we lay there together. On our backs, staring into the star filled night sky.
I wrapped my arm around her, and she rested her head on my chest.
"You know what?"
she begins.
"What?"
I relpy.
"This has been the best birthday ever."
"Today was your birthday?"
"Yeah. I'm 17 now."
"Baby, that's awesome. You know what this means, right?"
"What?"
"Means you're old enough to move out. And move in with me."
"You would let me, Andy?"
"Hell yeah. I need some company in that house. Happy birthday, Emily."
I say before planting a kiss on her lips.
"My parents are going out to dinner tomorrow."
"We can get your stuff then."
I rest my forehead against hers, and we both just sit there smiling.
(EMILY'S POV)
Andy walks me back home, and we climb up to the roof beside my window. I get back in my room, and kiss him through the window.
I can't believe I'm gonna move in with Andy. I gotta start packing tonight.
He leaves, and I pull out a few boxes from my closet. I start putting my things into them. Like my desk stuff, pictures, binders, books, ect. Same for the rest of my room. And the bathroom. I check my phone and see a text from Andy.
"Hey baby. hope u had the best birthday ever. im proud u spent it with me. <3 im gonna bring my old pickup truck over so we can just load that up and we'll starting moving you in. om going to sleep. night baby love you <3 -andy"
That really made me smile.
I put on my pjs and put the rest of my clothes and shoes into a box. I leave out some socks and my tennis shoes for tomorrow. I'm just gonna wear my pjs. I'm lazy :/
