Willow awoke to the feel of an icy cold splash of water all over her body.
Groaning, she rose into a sitting position atop her soft moss sleeping mat. Her cave was small and cozy with the heat of a fire lit lantern. She had a thin fresh water stream, flowing through a crevice on the cave floor. Always cold in the morning for Willow to drink.
Slowly, Willow opened her eyes. About a foot away sat Saffron. His muscular body shifting toward the door. He looked mad. Really mad.

"Saffron I'm sorry." Mumbled Willow," I didn't mean to. I just! Ugh. I'm sorry."

"Yes, as you've said every day of the week now Willow! You have missed at least three of the very important pack meetings! How many times will I have to tell you over sleeping is... Not ok." He let out a sigh," let's go. I don't want to keep the pack waiting any longer."

And with that, the two of them walked out of Willow's cave and made their way to the exit tunnel. Where the rest of Willow's pack would be waiting.

Finally, Willow and Saffron made it to the exit tunnel. All of Willow's pack was was waiting for them.

"Well," said Coriander, one of Willow's best friends,he was big and strong... But not as strong as saffron. His gray fur glimmering in the morning light,"Our assignment today is hunting. We are supposed to get 3 large animals by the time beginning meal... begins. I suppose we should get going."

And with that, Willow and her pack exited their mountain home and started the beginning of their very long day.
