//Chapter One: Time stood still

::The way it did before::

Lyndsey starring up at the clouds thinking about her past life of how she encouters about her past ex boyfriend.

"That shit head." She mumbles to herself.

She looked down at her fingers where the ring placed on her ring finger, which it used to be their couples ring. But it was gone now.

Two months before, sitting in the boring side of the diner, Lynn is sitting up straight, staring at the cold mashed potatoe placed on the table, which it didn't seemed to be eaten.

A guy with a light brown hair entered the diner, walking up straight at Lynn, giving her a smile on its face. Matt.

"You're late." Lynn said, still staring at her cold mashed potatoe.

She looked just miserable.

The smile on the brown headed guy disappeared in an instant as he realized that the love of his life wasn't happy.

"I know. I'm sorry." He said as he started to touched Lynn's chin to make her look at him.

Lynn look up at him, but not that long.

"I have to tell you something." She said.

"Tell me."

"I'm breaking up with you." She said as she turn away from Matt's gaze.

"What?" He said as he raised his voice, giving everyone's attention to him.

"I said, I'm breaking up with you." Lynn said, holding her anger.

"You can't do this. I mean, I love you. You're all I have." He said giving Lynn's his annoying puppy eyes.

"You'll never be good for me, Matt. You never will." Lynn said as she started to walk away, leaving Matt unspoken.

The bell rangs, which it makes Lynn jumped from the bench where she sat. But it was a good thing that makes Lynn snap out from her bad memories.

She looked down at her fingers once again, and decided to throw her ring out from nowhere and decided to go to a music store.

-

"How's your day going out with yourself, and living all by yourself?" Mom asked over the phone.

"It was nice. Fair weather. And I actually just buy an album which is American Idiot." She said as she shrugged, thinking that her mother was also a fan of Green Day.

"Ohhh... that's pretty exciting. But don't forget to take care of yourself okay?"

"Sure mom." She said as she end the line.

Lynn took a deep breath, feeling exausted from all of her activities done by this day, even though most of them are thinking and staring up to space.

It was a good idea to Lynn to move out of town to forget her bad memories. She didn't want a change, she just want a fresh start.
