Trevor came back the next day. It was official. He signed everything and was now an official recording artist at Starlight Records. I think it's going to be fun working with him. Plus, he is pretty attractive.
I sit at the desk in the back, making more demo labels. Yay. Note the sarcasm. At least today was Friday. I get to go see little Jimmy today. So I really can't wait until my shift is over. I only need to last another ten minutes. Then it's time for lunch.
I practically jumped out of my chair and ran to the roof with my homemade lunch when those ten agonizing minutes finally passed. I ate my lunch and took in all the view of California had to offer. I was munching on a peanut butter and jelly as I heard a voice behind me. "Fancy meeting you here."
My head turned, and I smiled as Trevor stood there with his lunch. "Mind if I join you?"
"Not at all," I said. He sat down next to me and we both sort of stayed silent for a second.
"How do you like it? Working here?" I ask him, cutting off the silence.
"It's fun, most people are nice around here and the equipment is amazing here."
"Yeah. Our equipment is amazing," I say before biting into a baby carrot stick.
"Oooh Colleen! Do you sing?" He asked me.
I laughed before saying the biggest lie of my life, "Not really."

I knocked on Marlene' s door, because I promised that I would drop by and see Jimmy. She answered the door and let me in. I saw Jimmy sitting on the couch, his eyes lit up. "COLLEEN!"
