Chapter 1

Your POV

I was in the stables riding my horse Angel.

I named her Angel after my dead sister.

Anyways I was riding Angel and then one of the guards came.

This guard happens to be William. My bestfriend.

"Lady (K/N) your father wants you." William says.

"Thank you." I said and got off my horse.

I petted her and said "I'll be back later." And then headed towards the throne room.

I go there 5 minutes later and my father and mother were waiting for me.

They were sitting down on a table. They never liked sitting in the throne chairs thingy.

I sat down away from them.

"O'Khasis are making a move into our teritory." My father said to the counsel members.

"How about we ambush them?" Asked Lyon one of the counsel members.

I dont even know why I'm here. I was just sitting their not talking.

It was very awkward and uncomfortable. I learned to block stuff out so thats what I did.

I blocked everything out except the wind and nature.

I was just staring at the painting in front of me.

"We know the territory more than they do-" my father said but I cut him off.

"What if theirs a spy." I said the first time speaking.

Everyone was looking at me now but I'm used to it.

"Why do you say that say that?" Ask's Jack another one of the counsel members.

"The painting." I said as I got up to examine it.

There was an eye looking and listening to us.

The person behind the painting quickly realized that they've been compromised.

I sat back down. "They couldn't have come in the walls by their self. Someones spying on us." I said seriously.

Everybody was quiet. Then there was a laud crash outside the castle.

They've reached us already? Somebody did betray us but who?
