Chapter 2

Your POV

It all happened so quickly next thing I know there was a laud boom near the gate to the castle.

My mother was pulling me away from all of it.

She was pulling me towards the garden. She stopped next to the fountain.

She reached in the fountain and grabbed a locket.

My name was engraved in it.

"Do not loose this locket and do not take it off. This is he only thing protecting you." She handed me the locket.

"Promise me you will never loose this locket." She said

"I promise." I said.

"Ok now go. I'll miss you." She said as I put the locket on.

"Come with me." I said

"No. You go we'll be fine." She said then there was another laud boom.

My mom pushed me into my horse Angel and we were off.

I kept on looking back. Everything was a disaster. Everyone was panicking and running away.

" I promise I will come back." I mumbled to myself.

There was to many people getting away from the cause that the road was blocked.

I took a short cut through the woods and out.

I was heading to the nearest village and it was Phoenix Drop. My friend Aphmau lived there.

She had helped me and my family a lot.

It would take me an hour to get there. Not unless I didnt stop to rest.

I gave Angel a carrot to boost up her energy and we were off.

Time skip to Phoenix drop

I finally made it to Phoenix Drop. It took me 30 mins.

It was already turning night and I was tired and so was Angel.

I got off Angel and let her rest under a tree and gave her a carrot.

I headed to the purple house in the hill.

It was Aphmau's house. How do I know. Because it's purple.

I knocked once. I waited for 3 seconds and was about to knock when Aphmau opened it.

"Oh hey (Y/N) what brings you to Phoenix Drop?" She asked.

"Well (V/N) got attacked and well I kinda need a place to stay at for a while." I said.

"Oh my Irene! Are they alright?!" She asked.

"I dont know my mother told me to leave." I answered.

"Who attacked you guys?!" She asked

"O'Khassis." I answered

"Ok well you need a place to sleep. Come on in." She said

"Thanks Aph." I said.

She lead me downstairs and into a room with a bed and green (i think) walls.

"Thank you again Aphamu." I said grateful to have a friend like her around.

"(Y/N) you dont need to thank me." She said and left so I could sleep.

I hope im no bother to her. I thought as I drifted to sleep.
