Chapter 1- Beta Test?

"Huh?" I perked up at this notification. "What's this?"

Quickly clicking on the notification, I was brought me to a strange email:

Player,

You have been selected to be part of the Beta Test for Infinity Productions' new VRMMORPG game, Alpha Realm Online (ARO). 

A Nerve Gear and the game will be delivered to your address tomorrow, at 15/4/2078. 

Infinity Productions

My jaw dropped. Beta Test? For Alpha Realm Online? A free Nerve Gear?

Everyone-I repeat, everyone-knew about ARO. When Infinity announced that it was creating a new VRMMORPG game, gamers around the world had been super hyped for it, myself included. However, I had never thought I, an orphan who played truant so frequently the teachers at school probably didn't even know I existed, would get to be part of the beta test for this game. 

It would be awesome!

I was jumping up and down in excitement when I suddenly thought of something. They know my address? 

How?  

They managed to send me an email? That means they must have broken through all of my firewalls? 

How?

The excitement from before was gone.

I quickly sat back down at my computer. I was going to ask them some questions. But there was no Reply button. 

What? No way...

I searched all over the page for it, but it was nowhere to be found. Just to be sure, I even checked one of my previous emails. The Reply button was right there. But when I went back to that email from Infinity, there was still no Reply button. 

I guess all I can do now is wait.
