Chapter 1- Summer Boot Camp

The bell rang at Sidney High School, teens talking excitedly about what to do during summer vacation. I headed to my locker, to clear it off, last minute. Heading to the exit, I saw a familiar face. A face I don't appreciate. "So what you doing this summer, cutey?" It's Danny Lopez, a popular and attractive football player at Sidney High. "Leave me alone Pammy." He grined and said, "My name is Danny." "Whatever, Pammy..." He left. I headed outside where I felt the warm summer breeze in my face. I headed home where my ice cream sundae is waiting for me. But an unpleasant news is released to me.

"I'm going where?" "You're going to a summer boot camp", my parents said. "But I don't want to go. It's going to be boring. I know it is." "You're going ok young lady?"

"But mom..." "You're going and I don't want to hear any fuses about it." "FINE..."

I ran upstairs to my room and laid on my bed for quite a while, thinking what will happen at boot camp. My phone suddenly rang. It's Kim, one of my best friends. She's tall, big eyes, very very long dark brown hair, and kind of round. She is very charismatic and always smiling.

"Hello?" "Hey Ashley, you going to boot camp?" "How did you know?" "My parents told your parents about boot camp. Irma and Gisselle are going too."

Irma and Gisselle are my other best friends. Irma is tall, has long dark hair, and light brown eyes. She it's very prissy but sweet and carrying. Gisselle, in the other hand, is tall as well with long coal black hair and glasses. She is a very sweet person and very laughable.

"Oh cool, at least I'm not going to be alone." "Let's meet at my house next Monday, ok?" "Sure." "Listen Ashley, I got to go, I have to do chores and don't forget about next Monday." "I won't, I promise bye." "Bye." I laid in bed now thinking what to do with my friends once we arrived there. Now, instead of being bummed down, I'm excited about it. Kind of.
