When Aaliyah got home she couldn't wait to tell her mom and dad about her first day in the studio

Aaliyah walks in the house and looks to her right and sees her mom and dad sitting in the living room talking

Aaliyah: hi mommy, hi daddy

Michael: hey baby girl

Diane: (smiles) hey baby how did your first day in the studio go

Aaliyah: it was good

Diane: really?

Aaliyah: yeah...I sung my favorite song for him and he liked it and he wants to work with me

Michael: (smiles) that's great baby

Diane: yeah your finally going to be living your dream

Aaliyah: I know it feels so unbelievable

Diane: yeah it feels that way to me and your father as well

Michael: yeah the thought of you touring and selling albums is hard to believe right now but once you start it won't be hard to believe

Aaliyah: yeah (sits down) I just hope I don't mess up

Diane: baby as long as you keep singing the way you do you won't have to worry about making a mistake

Aaliyah: yeah mom but what if no one likes my music I'll be nothing but a total failure

Michael: baby girl you have to stay positive and believe in yourself...you got what this takes

Diane: Liyah your father is right

Aaliyah: (looks at her mom)

Diane: you got this that beautiful voice that you bring out everytime you sing everyone is gonna love you

Aaliyah: you really think they'll like me

Diane: (puts her arm around her) I'm your mother...I know their gonna love you...all you have to do is believe in yourself (smiles)

Aaliyah: (smiles) thanks mommy

Diane: your welcome baby
