We arrived at the lab and I legged it to the door, typed in the code and authorised entrance for Vinnie and myself, throwing the heavy iron door open I rushed to one of my many whiteboards and scribbled down my pencil-ings from earlier. Vinnie stood awkwardly in the doorway looking into the room in awe.

"Wow, Doll... This is, well it's incredible!"

"Thanks! This idea will be my true masterpiece though, thanks to you."

"What is your idea anyway, Babe?" He asked, now becoming a bit more comfortable in the new environment and walking around looking at all the other inventions cluttering up the place.

"I'm going to make a formula that once mixed with another's DNA will be able to be give the illusion that the wearer is the owner of the DNA."

"Huh?"

"Ugh, basically, imagine a kind of gel mask that can make you look and sound like anyone as long as you have a sample of their DNA." Vinnie's mouth made an 'O' shape as he finally got what I was getting at. The next few hours I spent preparing and working out all the flaws of the theory side of the experiment. Vinnie went and got food (hotdogs and root beer of course) while I finally finished the rough design. I heard the sound of a motorbike pull up outside and went to the door to see Charley all flustered.

"Hey, what's going on? Where's Vinnie?"

"Back at the garage. Those fish scum did a surprise attack on him. He needs a Doctor, Stell..."

"Charley, I ain't that kind of Doctor..."

"It isn't like we can just take him to hospital, Stell! He's a giant alien mouse for God sake! You have the knowledge and advanced medical supplies to help him!" I nodded agreeing and understanding what she was getting at. I grabbed my personal medical box and a jacket and locked up the lab once more before we both got on the bike and sped away to the garage.

When we got to the garage I just had to follow the red stains. Blood. I gulped, I was never  much good with dealing with blood but I guess I didn't have a choice now. Modo was pacing behind the couch, his eye gleaming red with anger; Throttle was crouching in front of the couch looking worried and mad as hell, scratching his head for need of doing something and Vinnie, oh poor Vinnie. He lay on the couch groaning in pain, blood seeping from him left side and his leg, which was bent in a funny way too.

I took a deep breath and looked at Charley who in turn looked at me worriedly, she knew I hated blood and went to get me a bucket just in case. I walked round to the front of the couch and took in the large once white mouse that was now covered in his own scarlet blood and gently gestured for Throttle to move and give space. After checking his vitals and stopping the blood from his side, it was the leg I now had to deal with...

"Modo, I'm gonna need you to hold his shoulders down, Throttle, I need you to hold down his legs. He's dislocated his knee but somehow has popped it back but in the wrong position so I need to pull it out again and then pop it back into place." The boys nodded and got into position. "On the count of three. One, " They held him down. "Two," They gripped and looked away. "Three." Vinnie let out a scream of agony as I pulled as hard as I could until the pop of the knee dislocating again and then I pushed it back into the correct position as hard as I could until a horrible crunching popping sound was heard; then I knew it was back in place and quickly washed the blood off and wrapped it up. Giving him a large dose of pain killers; it was over.

"He's gonna sleep for a few days. The pain killer I gave him is something I created to speed up recovery as well as stop any pain. By the end of the week, he'll be fine."
