Hi, I desided to update and I wont update again until Sunday because I am going to take a break from whriteing I'm also going back to work. Keep on reading and I would really like it if you guy's voted. I have noticed that my Erik/Christine fictions are'nt doing so well as Rierra does. It's okay, But I want you to give Erik and Christine a chance. Thanks!

Christine's pov

I was looking at myself in the mirror. I was painting my lips red and I had but on a little mascara and a little bit of vanilla perfume.

I stoped and looked at myself in the mirror. No, something was still missing. Oh right the earing's!

Gustave was walking around, singing little tunes. Just like his father when he's thinking or me when I'm nervous.

But I was'nt that nervous tonight. I know everything will be fine. I will sing this song and then me and my family can go back to France.

For me and Erik to have some contact with each other, I suppose we could write letters.

"Gustave? Could you hand me those earing's the diamond once on the left?" I asked my son, he came closer and stoped singing and handed me the earing's. I smiled as a thank you, he seem'd to understand because he smiled back.

"There, how do I look?" I asked Gustave who looked at me like I was the most beautiful thing he's ever seen.

You look so beautiful

So very beautiful

Like a queen in a book

He sang, I smiled and took his hands. I placed my left hand on his cheek and looked into those brown eyes.

You too are beautiful

So very beautiful

Once this performance is thrue

We'll spend some time

Just us two, wont that be fun?

I promised my son, we both heard a nock on the door, we both turned around to see who it was.

It was Raoul.

"Father! Does'nt mother look beautiful tonight?" Gustave asked Raoul, who did not take his eyes of from me. It's been a long time since he's been looking at me that way. It made me uncomfortable.

"Indeed she does, as lovley as she looked the very first time I came to her dressing room door." He smiled.

I blushed at the memory. "And look at you Raoul! You look just like that handsome boy in the opera box...the one who would always task me a single red rose."

Raoul smiled and looked down at the floor and then to Gustave.

Please Gustave, if you don't mind

Would you wait outside a while?

"But when is mother going to sing? I don't want to miss it" Gustave said dissapointed. I understood him. I went up and held my hand on his cheek.

Go and wait back stage my dear, soon papa will fetch you there

"You can both watch from the wing's" I smiled. As Gustave left I say down on the chair again. While Raoul closed the door.

Since our wedding day

Thing's have gone astrange

"Raoul" I said, but he did not listen, he continued singing.

I'm not proud of the way that I've acted

Oh, you figured that out just now, fantastic! Good for you darling.
A voice in my head told me. I knew deep inside that there was and will always be a part of me loving Raoul.
