It was quiet, the wind blew softly. I smirked, clutching the rifle in my hands. I started for the door of the abandoned factory, slowly opening it with ease. I walked into the room, were a gang lay a wait. I motioned my own to circle them quietly. I signaled Harley to approach them. She walked over, smiling. They looked at her and pointed their own guns at her. I growled a bit. If they dare hurt her...She giggled and winked at them, calming them.

"Harley Quinn, what are you doin' here?" The boss ordered.

" I came with a message from my Puddin'. He wants your gang, and in exchange, he won't kill you all!" She snickered. He glared and looked around. He grabbed her and pointed a gun to her head. She yelped. "HEY! Hands off the merchandise!!!!!"

"Joker, where are you!? Come out and your slut won't get hurt." He had his arm around her neck, keeping her in place. I snarled and walked out. He glared and pointed his gun. He laughed. "You came alone?!"

"I thought we could do this the easy way. Let her go." I ordered. He rolled his eyes and shoved Harley to me. I caught her and made sure she was okay. He raised an eyebrow at me.

"Since when did you care so much for the dame?" He asked.

"Recently. BOYS!" My men shot boss' leg, causing him to fall. I laughed and walked over. "See? It would've have hurt a whole lot less if you had just played nicely."

"Well said, Mistah J." Harley giggled. She turned to the others. "So, you five men wanna end up like your old boss, or accept Mistah J. as your new and better boss?" The men looked and fake smiled, nodding. I smirked and injected the gang leader with Joker venom. He started laughing uncontrollably, Rocko carried him out the door. I cackled and turned to the others.

"Ready for a heist, boys?"

We went to the Gotham Jewelry store. I broke the window with a crowbar and went inside. Harley skipped over to the computers and started hacking them, humming happily. I broke locks on the cases and watched as the boys looted through them. No alarms, no Batman. Perfect. I smirked and looked over at Harley. She looked up and smiled at me, clicking away at the keyboard. I walked around the jewlry store, awaiting my heist to be over. It would be a success! I chuckled and saw a red diamond ring. I picked it up and went over to Harley, slipping it on her finger. She smiled and kissed my cheek.

After the heist was over, we all went home. I stared at the ring Mistah J. gave me. It was so beautiful. I looked out the window of the car, smiling. Things were looking up for us finally. He was truly changing, Mistah J. was my angel still. From the first time I saw him in Arkham, I knew he and I were alike. We understood each other more than anyone else. Too bad Batman was the cause of most of Mistah J.'s stress. B-Man wasn't so bad, he was just trying to do what was right for Gotham. But it interfered with Mistah J.'s dream. Of seeing a whole world laughing. I wanted to make sure Mistah J. had that dream. We parked and stored away the jewels and money we had got, Tomorrow we'd be on the news. Mistah J. walked over and hugged my waist, kissing my shoulder. I giggled and went to feed the babies.

"Harley, I have to ask. What made you fix this old thing?" He lifted up the clown doll. I smiled and shrugged, grabbing two steaks from the fridge.

"I saw it and it reminded me of you, Puddin'." I answered.

"It did?" He looked at it." But it looks so innocent."

"You're my angel, Mistah J." I threw the steaks at Lou and Bud. He looked at me, stunned.

"Angel?" He whispered. I nodded and went to make our own dinner. He stayed on his chair, observing the doll. I felt a little bad. Maybe I said that wrong. Upset him. I kept cooking, hoping he'd forget about it and cheer up again. I always wanted my Mistah J. happy. Never sad. I served him and went to the kitchen serving myself. I wasn't hungry much, but I didn't want to worry Mistah J. with not eating. I nibbled on the bread I had made and thought about the past month. It seemed like so much happened, I fought with Mistah J. twice, gt injured, recovered and talked with Ivy a few times. I couldn't tell what would happen next. Maybe our new gang would come of use to us. I grabbed the leashes and went to walk the babies. Mistah J. stopped me and took a leash.

"I'll come, this time." He smiled halfly. I smiled back and walked to the park with him. I let the babies off their leashes and let them run around. No one was ever in the park at night. I took a seat on the bench and watched Mistah J. wonder the park. He seemed so lost lately, enveloped in his own mind. Like he was confused. I had been lost too, wondering where I belonged. In the city as a normal citizen, or with Mistah J. I chose Mistah J., eitehr for good or bad. I didn't care. He was my Puddin'.

I walked over to the babies and grimaced. They had killed a rabbit. Ick. I patted their heads and tured and saw Mistah J. sitting on the swings. I walked over and sat with him.

"You okay, Puddin'?" I asked, touching his shoulder gently.
----------------------------------

I tensed at her touch but looked at her, relaxing. Her question was the same question I was asking myself. I swung a bit on the swing, not answering her. I wanted to know myself if I was okay. I felt weird when Harley was around, not bad weird, but weird. When other men were around her, I get protective. When she's in danger, I want to make her safe. I never felt this for Harley. Ever. But I've been feeling it lately. Ever since the first time I got her back from Ivy. I didn't know if I liked it r not.

"Puddin', you're worrying me." Her voice ripped me away from my thoughts. I looked at her and patted her head, earning a squeak.

"I'm okay, Harley, just thinking." I answered. Not knowing if I was answering the question truthfully or not. She seemed content with that answer and swung on her own swing, looking at the sky.

"Ever wonder what's out there?" She asked. I looked up, seeing nothing. The city lights never showed the stars. "I wanna see the stars someday, it be amazing."

"I'll help you see them." I told her. She smiled a bit and shrugged. Then I remembered. I already broke the last promise I made to her. I sighed and swung. I broke that promise, maybe she doesn't trust me. She got up and whistled, leashing the babies. She looked at me and smiled.

"Ready to go home, Puddin'?" She asked. I nodded and stood, walking back home with her. It was a good night. The wind blew softly, everything was quiet. I walked into the warehouse with Harley, following her to our room. Laying down for the night, holding her close to me. I always did this, maybe to make myself feel better. To assure myself she wasn't going anywhere. But whenever she left, she always came running back.

And I had done the exact same for her. My Harley Quinn.
