LGBT+ Conflicts

Ok so here we go. This is a big conflict in our society right now; but when writing realistic stories, you have to remember, we exist.

Studies show that at the moment, almost 1/4 of people are apart of the community. That means if there are 10 people, 2 or 3 would be queer.

Now, when writing realistic stories, you cannot pretend that there are no people is incredibly dumb.

Many of us are tired of seeing normal tropes between a girl and a boy, but when it's between two girls or two guys, or with trans people or maybe even poly ones, we will go crazy and pretty much vote the shit out of the book. It's just how we are.

Now, a big problem in the media is that 2/5 of all queer characters in movies, books, tv, etc. are killed off in the most ridiculous ways. We are tired of seeing them die. That doesn't mean no gay boy can ever die in all history, that's unrealistic. But you cannot kill off the one gay character in a tv show without everyone getting pissed off.

Also, don't forget there are bi, trans, asexuals, and gender non-binary people. I would suggest you look these up before that.
