The Quest-CHAP.6

I woke up still on the chair, sleeping and then noticing Onmund next to me holding me. I snuggled up against his chest for warmth because it was freezing out in Winterhold, and closed my eyes trying to fall asleep. In my dream, I was getting married. But the face was blacked out. He was wearing fine boots and fine clothes staring at me as I stared back.

" Syndia, do you take.....as your husband?"The priest asked.

" I do." I smiled.

" And....... do you take Syndia as your wife?" He asked.

" I do." He s- %@#$@!! I can't believe this is happening.

" Wake up dear." He whispered repeatedly getting louder and louder.

Then My eyes opened and I gasped for air as Omnund shook me trying to get why I was breathing so hard.

" Did you have a bad dream?" He asked.

"No. no not at all." I panted hugging the blanket around me tighter.

" Do you want anything to eat or drink?" He asked still concerned.

"No thanks." I replied lowly. He smiled and went to go check on Aleson and Hroar. I rubbed my forehead and sighed.Like why him? I got u and limped my way to my shoes. I still had my armor from yestrday on. I slipped my boots on, and placed y Wuthurad in y weapon holder. I walked out to the main room and told the boys to tell Onmund I' going to Solitude. They nodded and I went off to take a carriage to Solitude. I was going there to buy a house, and join the legion.

Arriving in the new place, it was filled with nightshades, bushes and lush green plants. It had about two story buildings of, clothing, food,(Winking Skever), and potions. They had little shops of food like fish everywhere, and kids ran by me laughing and shouting. The wall leading to the second half of the city only had one path leading to three more. One lead to the houses of people and at the end was Jarl Elsif in her Blue Palace, and the otherone you had to take a ramp up, to see a blacksmith and leading to a gaurds area for training also known as where the Gen. of the legion sits, Castle Dour. I strolled by the Blue Palace and saw Jarl Elsif. I felt bad for her. Ulfric Stormcloak, murdered her husband using a shout. I walked into the Blue Palace and practically used all my money buying the 25000 dollar house and thats without the 8000 gold furnishings. The next thing I did was walk to Castle Dour. Inside was a small like living room size with to tables, plants in every corner and candles placed nicely on the table. I walked to the next room where to people were dressed insilver armor, and redish boots. One guy walked up to me and asked,

" Do you have any speficic buissness to be here?" He asked. He had sort of a cracky voice.

I replied in a polite voice," I would lik to join the Imperial Army."

He looked my up and down, having a confused face.

" Go talk to Legate Rikke about joining. She has a quest for everyone that would like to join." I paused at the name. THAT BITCH! SHE WANTED MY HEAD CUT OFF A YEAR AGO! I nodded not showing any anger or hatred, I nodded with a smile and approached the next room.

 Then I saw Legate and walked  up to her, but before I could say anything, she imediatly said,

" Are you here to join the legion?" I nodded and she turned around.

" How do I know your not going to try and kill me like I almost did a while back?" She asked crossing her arms over her chest. My face was turning colors from pale white to burning red.

" I already would of killed you then." I stated.

She smiled evily and said walking up to me," If you get this task completed..... you can be one of us."

Her voice sounded so.... scary, yet I nodded and she said," I want you to clear out fort Hrogstad of the bandits that are there. Do this and we will claim the fort ours and we will claim you an Imperial." I nodded and she pushed me out.

I wandered back to Onmunds house and he looked so frightened when I arrived.

" Why didn't you s-"

"I have a quest to join the Imperials." I cut him off plastering a smile on my face. He smiled with a littl chuckle and hugged me whispering in my ear,

" That's great. But can you stay a while before you go?" I nodded.
