*Alexandrias POV*
Alexandria! Alexandria!
Why are you back in New York?
Wheres your boyfriend?
Are you dating Grayson Dolan?
I pushed through with the help of charles trying to get to my dads office building. Leaving Cali was probably a very good idea.
How they knew i was in New york still surprises me, my phone is dead so I havent contactes anyone and dont plan on unless its my mom and Gina. Other than that i dont want to hear about any other person in Cali.
"Welcome back Alex, your father is waiting for you in his office, would you like anything to drink or eat?" Asked Casey the building receptionist.
"No I'm fine thanks Casey." She smiled as i got in the elevator , charles folowing closely.
"You dont seem so happy, you alright kid?" Asked charles, I nodded.
"Ill be okay Charles, thank you." He nodded as the elevator doors opened and I came into the fancy floor where my dads office is. This floor only has two offices Ceo, and Owner, and my dad is now owner, looking for a ceo.
"Alex, your dads waiting for you." Said Jenny, a very nice 50 year old lady. I faked a smile and walked to my dads office putting my hands in my hoodie pockets and looking down at my black pumas.
"No Daniel, give your sister some space, and listen to your mom" i rolled my eyes as soon as i heard the name and knocked. "Bye Daniel, love you son...Come in."
I walked and slightly smiled at my dad, he was wearing a black and white suit his coat was off and he had reading glasses on. Man, my pops is getting old.
"Hey there princess." He smiled getting up and imidiatly hugging me.
"Hey pops." I hugged him tight, he smelled like coffee and clogne.
"How you feeling?" He asked rubbing my back.
"Tired, betrayed, same old same old." I sighed and he pulled away looking at me with disapointment.
Yeah pops, im disapointed in myself too. Why do i keep trusting so easily, why do i fall so easy?
"Thats not my strong princess talking." I shrugged sitting down on his leather chair spinning around.
"Alex talk to me."
"What do you want me to say. I dont want to cry anymore, I'm done crying, I'm done trusting people, Im done with life." I dont want to cry but its hard controlling my hormones being on my period.
I found myself in my dads arms crying though. Where do qll these damn tears come from? I didnt ask for them to come out.
"Don't say that, your strong, we raised you better than this. I didnt raise a quiter,i raised a young women who can run this damn world. Your smart. Yor beautitiful, and i know you can make it through." My tears and breathing slowed down. I was now just thinking about my dads words.
Hes right, no matter how bad all these people did me wrong, I need to be strong, im done with the crying.
"Hey, look at me. Dont turn into a stone cold bitch now." I smiled shaking my head. "All im saying is move on, crying is okay but not crying all the time. Moving on is easier said than done, but its not impossible, you have a long life ahead, you can do this." I nodded getting up.
"Your right, dinner?" I asked and he smiled nodding.
"How does some of nana J's cooking sound?" Nana J isnt related to us but she was like my babysitter when I was younger and when she saw we grew up she didnt want to leave and we didnt want her too, so she decided to be our cook.
