" Jessica Hemmings Irwin Hood Clifford what is this??!! " Luke said...

We all turned our heads towards Luke.

My eyes widen when I saw what he was holding up.

" I-I can explain Luke " I said. Luke crossed his arms over his chest. " Then explain, because as far as I know, you want to leave us " Luke said. I scoffed.
" It's called College dad. I've been registering " I said. All of a sudden everyone yelled " COLLEGE???!!!! ". Luke put the papers down. " Baby, you've been registering to colleges in South Carolina, North Carolina, Kansas, London, etc... " Luke said. " Why can't you go to college here in Australia?? Why do you have to be far away?? " Ashton, Calum, and Michael asked " It's just...I wanted to go to a college that wasn't in Australia because no offense but I need to live on my own " I said.

I heard Luke gasp. I saw his eyes watering.

" You want to live on your own?! You're not happy here with us??!! " Luke asked " Luke please listen to me " I said
" No! I don't want to hear it!! Go to your room miss Hemmings!! " Luke snapped.

I turned around and walked upstairs to my room.

Luke's POV
" Luke, mate, why'd you do that??? It's just college " Louis said " It's not just college!! She wants a college away from home, away from her family...away from me " I said " Luke, you had to see this day coming. She's growing up. She'll still come and visit. It's not like she's leaving forever " Perrie said " Besides she'll soon finish her online classes " Jade said.

Soon I heard footsteps running down the stairs...

" It's just college dad!! That's something most kids go to when they finish high school!! Luke, I will always come back home on holidays or anything else! It's not like I'm leaving your life forever!! You raised me, you took care of me, you watched me grow up, and so many more!! But it gets so lonely when your away on tour... " Jessica said.

I sighed. They guys and girls were right. Jessica was right.

I walked over to Jessica and pulled her into a hug.

" I know baby. I know. But just understand that being a parent and finding out that their child wants to go to a new country or state for college away from home...that's hard and scary at the same time. I won't be there to look after you " I said. Jessica looked up at me. " But you will still be able to look after me. Luke...I got accepted into a college here in Australia. I just got the phone call " Jessica said.

I felt so happy.

I hugged Jessica tighter.

" I love you Jessica. You're my child " I said. Jessica laughed and said " I'm your only child Luke ".
