"You're just trying to butter me up to make you a cake. I'm terribly sorry my lord, but you know the rule, no sweets before dinner."
The butler sighed and stood up. He truly believed his master had nothing else on his mind more than cake and oh, games as well. The servant wouldn't fall for his sneaky master's tricks.
Ciel released a sigh as well, except it was out of relief. As long as his butler believed that, he was safe.
Putting on a fake act, the boy gave the man a look of disappointment. Come to think of it, he was starting to work up his appetite again, cake didn't sound all that bad. However, he knew Sebastian wouldn't let him anywhere near sweets.
Damn that demon, always worrying about his appetite more than his condition. At least, that's how Ciel felt sometimes. In all honesty, that wasn't the case. Ciel's security was always first priority according to the contract.
"Looking at me like that won't change my mind. Sick or not, you know how strict I am on the subject."
Sebastian crossed his arms, glancing down at the boy who he believed just desired cake. He didn't know what the young lord had desired the most though. The butler's constant attention is what he craved the most. Due to his pride, Ciel would never tell him such a thing. The demon would probably just laugh in his face, forever damaging him.
"Oh shut up, I heard you the first time."
Ciel rolled his eyes and averted them away from Sebastian. Must the demon really lecture him so much?
"My my, it seems you're particularly cranky. Are you having a stomach ache?"
He knew all too well how grumpy the master would get when he had them. So in asking this, he was not trying to tease in the least bit.
"No Sebastian, I'm just really annoyed." He huffed, " I just want to be treated like an adult sometimes instead of a naive child."
"Sir, how can I treat you like an adult when you can't even button your own shirts or tie your shoes?"
Ciel glared at Sebastain and the demon knew he had really out done himself this time.
Finally got the motivation to update thanks to you guys. All your likes ands nice comments made me realize how much people really enjoy my stories. Thanks a ton guys! It means a lot! Hope you enjoyed this plot twist. C:
