"Master I'm sorry I didn't m-"
"Leave!"
The butler of course did as he was told. Maybe it was best if he left Ciel alone a bit. He did seem rather distressed by something. All the servant could do was hope for the little earl's forgiveness and that all would be well.
All alone, Ciel laid sprawled out on his bed. Not only did he feel like crap physically, but emotionally as well. After two years, he didn't expect Sebastian of all people to make him feel this way.
He instantly was regretting sending his loyal servant away. His company was something that he treasured highly which was rare for him to enjoy from anyone.
Elizabeth was another person he enjoyed the company of, to an extent. Her deep romantic interest in him was getting rather annoying however. As a small child he was told to marry her simply because they were both nobles. Love really was money in this case. Why couldn't she see that?
He sighed and fidgited around on the bed. Why did he like Sebastain more than Lizzy? The very thought seemed to boggle his mind.
Was it because of his looks?
No, even though the small male did find him rather attractive, it wasn't enough.
Maybe perhaps it was the times where Ciel would gaze into his butler's eyes and see the true look of concern. He never looked at Ciel like he was just food anymore. Ciel could tell that Sebastain actually had respect for him and for the Phantomhive name.
"No, he's just doing his job."Ciel muttered to himself, embarassed at how flustured he gets over a servant doing merely what is asked of him. How foolish of him.
"Oh my, you must be talking about my beloved Bassy~"
The boy felt a twinge of annoyance, hearing that all too familiar voice.Sorry this is choppy, I needed a filler :D
