The air was stuffy. The smell of vomit and blood filled my nostrils. Wolves were clawing at their cells, too desperate to care about the silver bars eating their flesh. Some yanked at their chains, crying for help. Others laid dead on the the floor, too late to ever rescue. Silence fell upon everyone as they heard a 'click', indicating that someone had opened the door to the dungeon. The wolves howled and whimpered as the Alpha entered the room. He didn't bother glancing at the dead bodies scattered around on the cold floor. His tall figure approached the cell at the very back; my cell. His dark brown eyes glared at me as he unlocked my little jail.
"Back for more fun, Alpha?" I mocked. He only growled in response. I sat up, my back leaning against the metal wall. My arms and legs were tied up in silver chains and my clothes were covered in dirt and blood. I slowly tucked my chestnut hair behind my ear so that he could stare into my turquoise eyes.
"Do you know how many wolves would love to tear you to shreds?" Alpha Damien sighed. He ran a hand through his thick blonde hair, unsure what to do with me. He was probably torn between killing me himself or selling me to the highest bidder.
"Really? I wasn't aware." I retorted sarcastically. Alpha Damien was the Blue Cross Alpha. His pack was strong, very strong. The Blue Cross pack was the second strongest pack in the world. Not for long though.
"I find it hard to believe that you just so happened to be passing by my pack. You aren't fooling anyone. Everyone knows that you're a killer and for my men to have caught you means that you wanted to be caught." Alpha Damien remarked.
"You should have more faith in your men." I chided. Alpha Damien growled again, unhappy with my sarcastic attitude. He slapped me across the face, letting out his frustration. I ignored the pain and replaced it with numbness. I forgot pain a long time ago.
"You never shut up do you, Luna Katerina?" He snapped. My calm demeanour slowly escalated into a frown.
"It's Alpha, not Luna." I sneered. This only made the cocky Alpha smirk. Amusement sparked in his eyes as he eyed me carefully.
"I'm sorry, did I hit a nerve, Luna?" He mocked. In a flash, Alpha Damien was crouched down right in front of me so that all I could see was his dark chocolate eyes. Good. "That's true, your little daddy always wanted his first pup to be a boy. What a shame."
I only smirked back. I leaned in so that my mouth brushed his ear. He immediately tensed, but did not move. He didn't want to admit his nervousness. I whispered with an cruel voice: "Instead, he got something a lot better."
And with that, I ripped the chains off of me and snapped his neck before he could even realize what was going on. With my hands free, I turned the now dead body around so that he was lying on his back. I jammed my right hand into his chest and pulled out his heart. Blood was gushing out of his wound, wetting the floor. I could hear some of the prisoners quietly cheer and others gasp in terror. I squeezed the heart, making blood drip everywhere.
"Au revoir, Damien." I added before using his blood to write on the wall. I wrote Argent, which means silver in french. This was a way to let everyone know who was responsible: the Silver Paw pack. I strutted out of the cell, wiping my bloody hands on my jeans. The prisoners looked at me in awe.
"How did she break out of the silver chains?" One asked his neighbour. I ignored them as I shifted into my raven wolf. My blood thirsty eyes examined my entourage, seeking a new victim. I howled, giving the signal to my pack to attack. The Blue Cross pack was already weakened. Without an alpha, it would be almost impossible for them to win.
"The Blue Cross pack dies tonight!" My psychotic wolf chanted as I made my way to the main floor of the pack house. I killed all pack members I could spot. Some tried to attack back, but I was stronger and faster. They couldn't do anything to stop me. Now I had to kill the Luna, the last person to give her pack hope. I ran around like a crazed serial killer, murdering everyone in sight. I hurried to the top floor where the Luna stayed. She was standing at the top of the stairs, faking confidence. She had her chin held high, yet her whole body was quivering in horror. Did she think I was that dumb? I could smell fear coming off of her in waves.
"You ha-ave killed my mate, and your pack has almo-olst killed all of mine. I will not give you the satisfaction of killi-i-illing anyone else. I- I will kill you myself!" She sneered. Luna Claire was very pretty, I'll give her that. She had long ginger hair with sea green eyes. She could easily be a Victoria secret model. Too bad her brain was messed up.
"Ah, Luna Claire. You're quite brave, I must say. But why are you upstairs on your own, letting everyone else die for you? Shouldn't it be you dying for them? Or are you a coward? I remember hearing the story of how Damien found you. He kidnapped you and you never fought for your freedom. You were and are too weak. You're pathetic." I spat. She was the type of girl who never fought for herself. It's because of girls like her that men don't always take women seriously. Little bitch, my wolf growled.
Tears ran down her face as she lunged towards me. The impact of her blow caused her to fall onto me. Our bodies hit the wooden floor at the bottom of the stairs. Before she could get up, I dug my claws into her belly. She yelped in pain and tried to yank herself free. My fangs pierced through her neck as I started to swallow the metallic liquid.
"Hybrid." She gasped. I flipped our bodies over so that I was on top. She wiggled underneath me, kicking and screaming for help. I kept drinking her blood till there was nothing left. Once I finished, I slowly got up. Her lifeless body laid on the floor, her saddened eyes staring into space. I could no longer hear screams from the Blue Cross members. My pack kept mind linking me, letting me know that everyone in sight was deceased. The Silver Paw members all howled in victory. The Blue Cross pack no longer existed. We were now the second strongest pack.
